heh, if you gonna mess up "then" with "than"
then yes... that iso site is nicer because they don't care about teaching you a damn thing
they just happily share roms back and fourth..

stay in gbatemp and next we can teach you loads of stuff

funnystory stop hacking accounts.

Also yeah if I am the one nominally in charge of gbachef then salt lovers would probably not do well in my kitchen. I pretty much only use it if it is chemically required by the dish I am making.

As for stepping up then the wii u and 3ds has no games so multiples of zero are still zero.
You sir will never stop to surprise me.
The first line made me smile.

If pirates hate on other pirates, they all go down.
for the contrary....
in the 90s scene groups Fought each other to release content...
they even released comments in NFO files saying their releases were faster and better than other's groups some times even insulting the other groups..
@FAST6191 wrote a comment about that IIRC last year

Scene groups is not really the same as public HTML sites. I am not sure what comment I would have made along those lines that would have been of any real note, however as we are on the subject then one of my favourite presentations in general

Well, no one is forcing anyone to stay..

That's not the issue at large, the problem is that most members are content talking shit to other people and no one ever says anything about it. Person A sees Person B being disrespectful and before you know it the whole community thinks its okay to say whatever they please. Making fun of people serves absolutely no purpose in this community,no one gains anything. Staff members feel as if it is an easier alternative to allow it than to ban/suspend enough members so that the culture turns into a mature environment as it once used to be.

The iso site is nothing more than 2 things: +1 gimmie rom and click mega link.

There simply isn't an opportunity for arguments when when the purpose of that site is so basic.
This site is mainly concerned with actually figuring out how to play the roms, which is a lot more complex than begging for and downloading them.

Ooh have we moved onto the broken windows theory of community management (make something superficially nice and hope it somehow makes fundamental/underlying concepts nice or fixes problems if they exist)? Has that ever worked anywhere it was tried?

"turns into a mature environment as it once used to be."
When was that? Unless it was some point between 2002 and 2003, or in the wii hacking section one time (... I amuse even myself) then I am not seeing anything you could classify as mature. The names change, the specific jokes change, the systems and methods active at the time change (emulation was perfectly viable method during the GBA era). This place has always been machine shop style banter than some kind of imaginary Victorian dinner party discourse you seem to imagine once happened.

I haven't been to their forums beyond hunting for .cia's, but I have to say that their website is absolutely awful as far as layout goes... you have to scroll down past a bunch of outdated CFW/Sky3DS/Gateway links that take up the whole page, as well as their ads and stickies. Even with AdBlock Plus, some ads slip through, and everyone hides the rom links behind shitty adfly links. If there was another site for roms, I'd be all over it, because "that iso site" sucks fucking balls. There, I said it. IT SUCKS.

this is what I am talking about
Considering your history I think it's fair to say you're not exactly innocent of the things you accuse others of.
