MCIT v1.3, the new version, which has all the features listed above. No index.lua file is required. If you click the link in the main post, you can find a bunch of other games I made UniqueIDs for.
Opening the cia just gives me a black screen, no reboot, 10.7 sysnand on A9LH, one image in "images"
I'm stupid, needs 9.2, i can't use this, guess i'll downgrade my emunand

Try renaming it to something else. If it kicks you to the home menu when you open it, then it might be a problem with your image. I can't think of too much else.
You installed directly from the link in the thread? Then I have no idea. Can you tell me more about your system? (Try index.lua and the v1.1 CIAs with it, maybe?)
It's an o3ds running the latest luma3ds release, using a 9.6 firm, i tried it without, i'm about to install a different cia
the example smash you gave doesn't work, mario kart works

Try to start from zero and make your own CIA with 3DS release, remove your folder images and your image "PNG" and download here.

I just realized! You can't have any updates or DLC for the game when you install it. That's why Smash Bros. didn't work, you must have had one of those. Try deleting them and see if it works.

Just kidding, but for Miiverse, I highly recommend you have a separate emuNAND. Format it if you want to troll, or have a lot of accounts. Just don't change your serial number by 1, or even 2 digits.
For Miiverse mains that you actually want to keep, consider these tips.
* Use a proxy
* Don't edit YOUR serial number, make a serial number with completely different numbers (though DO NOT edit the first 2 letters in your serial number)
* Use a clean emuNAND
* Format your emuNAND every time you make an account
* Don't make accounts very often, like make a ~3 day gap between every one you make.
These are just tips to stay alive, they aren't tested either since my 3DS is brick. ;-;
