Thats I wouldnt know ive only ever flashed drives through SATA with a probe or BenQ with no probe

Yep, it's needed for the PMT.

Also, a word of advice is that you should never fully trust youtube.

Download Jungleflasher and look at the manual thast comes with it.

I have no idea what that person is doing you're just asking to fry whatever you connect that too.
Also that says for liteon drives you said you have Hitachi
