Use a bootmanager(bootctr or ctrbootmanager) and mess with the delay/autobootfix. Also try the 2.6 ropbin payload for your system or the 2.1/lesshax payloads for your system. The different payloads will help with menuhax failing and the bootmanagers will help with the cfw failing
i'm using ctrbootmanager now and i got 70% and 90% boot rate on my 2 N3DS's now. the 70% one has a 64GB micro sd card so i think that's why its failing more.

what is this 2.6 ropbin though?

umm... it's not counter productive. There is no ARM11 kernel exploit on >9.2 and GW NEEDS that for its cool features, and GW mode (at least on emunand) can't do twl or AGB.
If the only benefit (for a Gateway user) with a9lh is DSi and GBA VC then there is not point for sure if you lost all the benefits of SysNAND only CFW and Gateway features. Basically, for now, you must have emuNAND with a9LH to use Gateway so a Gateway user can just have 9.2 SysNAND with Menuhax HBL entrypoint, Cake or Rei as SysNAND CFW for GBA/DSi VC (if it really want it) and up-2-date GW emuNAND for all GW features...You gain nothing except potential brick with a9lh in this case. You may either not need CFW at all, a DSone (or clone) flashcard is enough and with far more cool features (many 3DS users had DS too before so they probably have one).

Anyway, again, as a Gateway users, I see 2 big problems with a9lh :
- while HBL can be booted no 3dsx are usable in firm 10.x (not a9lh exclusive i know)
- Gateway card is unusable if you do not have emuNAND

Beside thoses problem, a9lh is a cool thing for sure.

Well I fixed it because I had flubbed up the files but now Aureinand gives me a black screen... I'm just going to delete everything and copy the files back lol.

EDIT: I'm still getting a black screen on boot without holding any buttons... not sure what is going on.

Alright I fixed it... had forgot to add back the updatedsysnand file. Thought I only needed it if I was also using an emunand. My bad.

So, these days I've been working on a brand new (and way safer) A9LH installer. It's ready but I need an icon for it (a 48x48 image). Anyone up to the task? XD

Don't know if you have time to reply, but is anything new included OR is this as you say a safer and simpler way to install the original a9lh exploit ?

When updating from V3.8.1 to V3.9, what am I supposed to do with arm9loaderhax.bin? My SD card currently has an arm9payload.bin file

Remove the OLD arm9loaderhax.bin from the ROOT of your SDcard and copy the NEW one from 3.9. Then, create a folder in SDcard\rei\ and name it "payloads". Afterwards, paste inside the "arm9PAYLOAD.bin" and rename it to "default.bin"

What? You don't need emunand to use a GW.

So last night I installed a9LH and installed Aureinand over Reinand. When I installed it I originally kept my 10.7 emuNAND and 9.2 sysNAND with unlinked nands. I wanted a9lh because I read about not having to install GBA games on both sysNAND and emuNAND. Everything was fine, then I tried to install a CIA version of Pokemon Leaf Green on emuNAND. I made sure to install patched AGB_FIRM onto my sysNAND, but when I load the game I get an "An error has occurred... turn off your 3DS." So I went into sysNAND and installed the CIA of Leaf Green there as well. I was then able to boot into Leaf Green through emuNAND, but the same error occurred when trying to boot the game through sysNAND.

I decided I was going to remove the emuNAND partition and only use sysNAND with a9lh. Long story short, I flashed my emuNAND over to my sysNAND and accidentally removed a9lh in the process... I recovered though! I had to downgrade 10.7 sysNAND to 9.2 and then I restored my 9.2 sysNAND backup using Decrypt9 just to be safe. I then reinstalled a9lh with the same 9.2 sysNAND, renamed nand.bin on the SD card, back up with no emuNAND. I then injected FBI through health and safety, set up HBL, and updated a9lh sysNAND to 10.7. I installed the AGB_FIRM once more and installed Leaf Green again! I still have the same problem though. When I load the game, I get , "An error has occurred..." Any ideas how I can get this working? The main reason I installed a9lh was for the improved GBA installations...
