install it while in sysnand Gateway mode?

Ya I just installed the cia through gateway mode sysnand (by holding B and pressing A than X in gateway menu). I installed the hbloader.cia and when I restart the 3ds and test it out it still doesn't work. It gives me the error "software could not be launched". And when I boot into gateway sysnand, the hbloader works. I think I read somewhere it has to do with sign and unsigned cias.

Im very sorry if im annoying xD But if i delete the cia files , will the installed game not be on the home menu anymore ? Or will it be there.And are going to come more legit cias?

Once the CIA is installed you can delete it. If you hit Y instead of A to install it will delete it for you once done. They only time we get more legit ones is if Nintendo comes out with 3DSs with preinstalled games. Even if Nintendo does come out with more you have to wait for someone to get the proper stuff off the ds.

Guys! Usualy nasa install my legit cias at 1000, 1100 KB/s speed. But now, it´s going on 3800 4000 KB/S. It sounds like a good thing. But then working at this speed it simple wont install nothing, looks like it´s only reading the file, not writing anything at all. After it complete the importing at this speed i return to Home Menu and no new package is shown. Anyone have an idea whats happening? Already checked and it's selected Install to SDMC.

Do you have enough free space to install the CIA?

Sure! The game is 1.8G and i have about 8gb of free space. I don´t know what this option do, but i tried with Security Mode both ON and then OFF.

Are you on a CFW or with 10.3 fw?
Also have you tried to let the system repair database files?

I´m installing them on sysnand 10.3 as i usually do. I´m launching NASA on HomeBrew Launcher with MENUHAX installed. I will delete the DBS folder, remake it, let the system repair it and see what happens.

OK! Deleting the DBS folder, remaking it and then let the system repair the files again solved the problem. It's going on 1000 KB/S now. Lets see if it drop the so-expected-package on the home menu after about 10 HOURS installing this #$&¨%#$

Thank you.

Lemme ask you one more question is bothering me (although i can live without this feature).

I´m booting my 3DS right into HomeBrew Launcher after installing and configuring menuhax and then entering nasa. BUT when i enter nasa trough homebrew launcher i can´t sent package trough network using Houston. After entering houston command on the PC it try to find the 3DS on the network for about 1 minute then return a fail message informing it was unable to find it. That do not happens when i enter NASA trought the CIA installed package in the emunand over the same network on same IP.

Any ideas?

Pretty strange problem. Try to add a descriptor to NASA.3dsx which forces soc:U usage and see if it works:
Code:
<services autodetect="false">
  <request priority="1">soc:U</request>
</services>

Are you launching houston when you are in the same path where the executable is? (I'm assuming you're using Windows).
Found out that was my problem, but now I'm still getting stuck at 'magic received, transfer beginning' or whatever. I'm trying to install Detective Pikachu and since I don't know how to make a .3DS into a .CIA even with the use of a tool, I found a CIA on 3DSISO. It's JPN but that shouldn't be a problem as I'm on emuNAND 9.2 and using FreeMultiPatcher to play some of my other JPN games like Assassination Classroom: Grand Siege on Korosensei, one of my favorite anime series as well as games. I'm running unlinked NANDS that are both on 9.2 as I am afraid to update and have something go horribly wrong. The game itself is 680MB and I have 760MB where I am trying to install it (emuNAND) but NASA says you can install it directly so you don't have to worry about double space. I have maybe 290MB left on sysNAND btw.

How are we gonna get software updates now?
For updates you could just get the CIA from somewhere and install it using BBM or FBI, that's how I updated Smash and a few other games.

Fresh new n3ds sysnand 9.6.0-24E with no emunand, Tried browserhax/menuhax, homebrew launcher/ gridlauncher, WiFi on/ WiFi off, connections deleted, Different SD card (dbs files exist on both cards), NASA 1/1.1/1.2, tried running headtracker first. 0% boot rate :cry::cry::cry: either a black screen or some fuzz though gridlauncher consistently gives me black screen.

@Rinnegatamante I saw a post were you could build variants of NASA with memchunkhax1 or memchunkhax2 hacks, think any of those may work?

NASA v.1.2 selectively choose which version of memchunkhax to perform based on your firmware. Unfortunately, memchunkhax2 is A LOT more unstable on N3DS so you just have to be patient.

When running houston.exe without any parameters/arguments it makes my HDD go nuts :unsure: (i hear weird sounds coming from my computer, as if it has trouble reading/writing to it and retries it very frequently)

This doesn't seem right/normal to me =P
