OK team, I hardmodded my 3ds xl (USA) this afternoon. And I backed up my NAND. And tried to remove it but all I get is this Blue Screen.

Where did I fuck up? And how can I fix it?

Do you still have your hardmod installed? The close up of the screens doesn't tell much. Post a pic of the whole 3ds

I have a bad feeling that you corrupted sysnand. reinstall the hardmod and rewrite your nand backup.

Am I the only one who finds it harder soldering to the SD cart adapter than the 3DS... Bloody thing is annoying as hell

I removed it completely, and it still gives me the BSoD.
Switch on your console :
- if BSOD appears immediately = NAND is corrupted or locked (due to GW mischievous code)
- if BSOD appears after 2 seconds = NAND is burned or not be detected

Have you used a modified SD card reader to dump the NAND ?
Or have you used a classic USB cable to do it ?

Could you take a picture of the removed wires system ?

Could you take a picture of the motherboard where you have soldered ?

Open the "NAND.BIN" backup file you made with HxD software and see the line 00000100.
You must have "NCSD" word in the right column.

Is it the case ?

Could you make quick video to show me the start of the console to estimate the delay to get BSOD ?
Need to see when you push POWER button and screen in the same time.
Thanks.

PS : If you have a multimeter, test black wire (GND) and green wire (DAT0) to be sure you have no contact between them.

IMPORTANT: The lenght of wires must be equal or less than 25 cm !!! If too longer, the NAND can't be detected by computer.

Well, looks like this is gonna be parts

Tomato Hentai, I'd guess it has something to do with the voltage SD cards read at being quite low. But 25 CM would be short even for that voltage... might be an issue if you're using 25 metres
