Correct you need the Red card inserted.

maybe the consoel then maybe only N3ds? it never lights up on my old 3ds or old xl only in my N3ds it lights green usually on boot

Btw, users who updated to 10.3, I suggest to create an emunand backup NOW while it's clean (no update nag, etc).
Apparently the 10.3 browser itself can push an update nag when it detects there's one available..

Did you update through the system itself or that site? NTR does what exactly?

So what would happen if we update the N3DS emunand and switch to rxTools with the upgraded emuNAND?

Im guessing that it is a change in the launcher.dat that contains the 10.3 keys.

What brick have you been living under?

Yes, you can downgrade now with just software and use your GW + New3DS emunand 10.3, but there's about 10-20% chance of a brick. The odds may have improved recently though.

One caveat, once 10.4 is out, you will no longer have the softbrick->update to 10.3->re-downgrade failsafe that's been helping a lot of people. Also, the free browser exploit will also likely be patched so you'll need a hax game.

If I update my emunand to 10.3, I'll still have kernell access?

Yes because Gateway is constantly patching signature checks giving you arm9.

Apparently, even on the faster and pricey internet, it was getting interrupted and erroring out. FORTUNATELY, whatever it was downloading, it was saving and RESUMING from where it left off. After 5 to 6 interruptions, it finally finished downloading the update and installed it

I updated through system settings. When I try launching the boot ntr cia it says "FW not supported". But its a known issue and will be resolved (hopefully soon ^^)

Ok, it gives a "counterfeit card detected" message when I try to use my DSTWO with 3.7 but this message is bypassable by ejecting DSTWO and selecting GW mode separately.
As always, do not use DSTWO with something higher than 3.4.1 if you care about your 3DS

Is it the one with the URL? That was discovered over the last couple of weeks. But perhaps it has only now been activated.

This is exactly what I think. Everyone else seems to insist that they only started working on 10.3 after Smea et al did their talk. Highly unlikely.
