Ah. Just curious is all. I do not have any problems shipping the entire unit, I did it before (To Vancouver from Alberta) when I had to send in an old DSi that I had because the shoulder buttons were shot. It'll just probably cost me a bit more (Although I'll be visiting the bank here soon I hope, so I'll have at least some money to work with), but I can put it in a bubble wrap envelope, mark it as fragile, and send it once I find some time to run to the post office.

I may also have a spare MicroSD adapter laying around somewhere you can make use of, seeing as I have far too many of them :P If there's any other parts that you may need, I can attempt to source some myself to send to you so it doesn't cost you as much.
Past the adapter board, that's really it. I'll cover the Micro-JST connectors, and the 30AWG Kynar wire, as they're both inexpensive, and not items you're likely to have laying around.

Alright. Once I get a chance to stop in at the bank and get the funds to cover the shipping, I'll shoot you a PM.

I uploaded the DSi Compatible HB site to Github Pages (branch gh-pages). Also @Gadorach you offered me a hardmod service for a DSi, if @Wolfgange wants His DSi modded the hack is all his. He has released numerous homebrew already, so I think he will provide a good homebrew support to the scene.

I've already directly offered @Wolfgange a free hard-mod, so that doesn't count. ;)
You still have it to give away to someone else if you wish.

I thought this was dead :O
:) I don't kill off my projects that quick :P.

Holy crap that looks great. This will be my go-to launcher when I get my DSi back.
Thanks! I'm planning on implementing either a centralized "app store" or settings for the next release (After the one with animations). Which one should be done first? I've created a poll on the main page.

Can anyone explain me what this is? I don't understand XD
When you start up your DS flashcart, you normally select an app from a list and then click "A" or something to launch the game/app. That current interface is most likely the default launcher. This is an alternative interface to execute .nds homebrew files. It displays a list of folders and nds files and allows you to execute them.

So, its a fancy interface? :D

I've added animations for navigating into a folder :). All that's left is:
- Add an animation to show which folder was pressed
- Condense the large font to fit better
- Test on hardware
Wow the animations for this look polished and professional, nice work! Looking forward to upgrading to the next version as the video you posted appears to fix the scrolling bug that it used to have. Is this project on Github? I can try to compile and test on one of these holidays approaching...

This looks great! I think I'll try and hardmod my DSi and downgrade it some time. In the meantime, I'll try it on my R4i Gold 3DS.

UPDATE: I tried installing Aura Launcher to replace the currrent menu. Didn't work with fincs' bootstrap. I'll try it again using the one included in the main download.

UPDATE 2: Tried installing Aura Launcher again as main, this time with the bootstrap included in the main download. Didn't work. I'll try it again tomorrow with another flashcart which is a DSTT clone.

UPDATE 3: Launched it through Wood R4, works. Launched GameYob, works. I knew that this definitely wouldn't load roms but I still tried. I tried Ace Attorney Investigayions and I got a white screen. Tried Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team, got a black screen. If thid does support roms, could it be because I am using trimmed roms? If this becomes a good replacement for the many flashcart menus, would it be possible to add rom support even if it was done by another person?

What cards are you trying to use it with? And as for ROM support, Auru Launcher is based on hbmenu, whose sole purpose is to provide a launcher without ROM support (And writing a ROM loader is quite tricky). However, I do understand that many require this in order to replace their default menu. Here is a potential workaround I've thought of:
Create a back-to-stock-launcher button in a corner in order to go back to the default launcher for loading whatever won't work in Aura Launcher.

In general, ROM support will never make its way into the official repo, but if anyone wanted to they could either fork the project, adding the feature and updating for new releases, or simply write a universally supported ROM launcher that could be used side by side with Aura Launcher. But like written in the link above, doing so requires specific patches for various games and support for a wide variety of cards.

BTW, here's a progress update.
Things left to do before release:
  • Figure out why the top icon gets corrupt
  • Fix the top screen text box to accommodate the larger font
  • Fix a glitch when navigating into folders too fast
