Is there an app for N3DS that allow turn on Wifi in HBL? Would like to keep Wifi turn off to avoid accidental update Ironfall Invasion game. Then, turn on wifi to use Eshop/game from HBL.

OK, pay the thousands of euros to get a Nintendo license
1. I pay in British Pound Sterling thanks.. ;)
2. Have you seen some amazing add-ons people have done for Unity? They're very hard-coded, with thousands of lines and a lot of functions that even I have never heard of. But it really should be possible.

My 2DS was my main way to navigate on the Internet (mainly reading/sending e-mails, consulting twitter/FB). Has there been any work on a web browser homebrew? (I remember I used such a thing on Wii, allowing file downloads) ?

Also, I don't grasp those technical things, but with the way the browser is implemented into the console system, would there be a way to launch it through some homebrew to get it work? (I simply want to be able to see webpages, nothing to do with the hax).

My excuses for any nonsensical thing I wrote.

I think you can actually launch it through HANS. I haven't tried, but I'm pretty sure it at least appears in the title selector.

It is actually the first thing I thought about. I should have wrote it above, but all those "little" programs we can see on the same top line are not "detected" or at least shown in HANS.

Thank you for your fast answer, and I thank you for your alarm too by the way.

PS: it is a nice Shinji's face you catched.

Hmm, you're right. Though by what you're writing I assume you have an entry point other than browserhax or tubehax. If so, couldn't you just update the payloads for your entry point(s) to 10.2 then update the system itself?
Otherwise, there are some suggestions going around about changing the DNS and other more complex stuff such as blocking Nintendo from the router and whatnot.

Too bad it totally broke in hax 2.5

PS: I didn't catch it myself, it's actually quite popular.

{REQUEST} An app that blocks Nintendo server updates, like a toggle. But allow the wifi to remain connect to update apps and use FTP servers. You probably can't connect to the eshop with this toggle on.

This. I'd love this so much.

I've left my 3DS with the internet toggle on twice now by complete accident and downloaded an update. Thankfully it is possible to trick the 3DS into deleting the update data by booting into Safe Mode as another user has pointed out, but I'm not sure if this applies to any firmware higher than 9.9.

Having something like this so I don't accidentally leave my 3DS open to update downloading would be fantastic assuming it's possible. I feel like it'd require a kernel exploit, but I'd certainly love to be proven wrong.

DAE know of of Mother 1+2+3?

It’s a Wii Homebrew application (or you could install the .WAD with MMM) that's, in it's basic form, just a coverflow-like emulator that loads the Mother 1, Earthbound, and Mother 3 ROMs (provided you download the ROMs yourself).

I think it’s cool , and I’d like to see someone come up with a Mother 1+2+3-like Homebrew application/.CIA.

Here’s a video:

And here’s the forum topic from Starmen: https://forum.starmen.net/forum/Fan/Games/MOTHER-1-2-3-Intro-and-Title-Screen

HANS hacks wise, I wonder how possible it would be to change controls in a game.
Say Smash Bros Controller App in order to get D-pad support or secret macros etc.
Maybe Kid Icarus Uprising with the C-stick change to simulate touch screen use though that would be most difficult.
Curious if anyone is attempting such a hack on any ol game.

Just had to link a couple open source projects that might be worth attempting a port.

Super Mario War could use a port.
Though a bit pointless without multiplayer but perhaps someone might wanna try multiplayer over a WiFi LAN for local play.
Source code is open however, might be worth trying to make a single player game with it and revive the project a bit.

On that thought however, Super Tux could probably be good to port too.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
