i think people need to note what region console they tested on too, as for example loading up the US nes remix on a EU console makes it request EU language files that aren't on the disk....renaming the USen folder to EUen fixes the issue, so even though this is technically region free the wiiu may call different files that don't exist on a out of region game

That should not really matter cause the language packs are not included in most games in the content folder anyway so I can't really see how that can work. I thought it had been confirmed out of region games work on the other thread?

yeah out of region games work.....but the game pulls files based on the system settings, so for example the US version of nes remix played on a EU system wants to load all the in game text from sys\msgstudio\EUen....but this directory doesnt exist on the US disk.....but you can just rename the sys\msgstudio\USen, to EUen and it works then.....basically if people are saying "game X doesnt work"....they should really mention if they have a console that is the correct region as the game to rule out issues like that

Installing all the files, setting up the SD card is the easy part, what files we need to get, how to get them, etc is where I'm getting lost. Can't we just get them using uWizard (from NUS)? People seem to be
able to get WUD files with ease, and decrypt them, I don't know why I'm confused. Maybe I'm just stupid -_- I just feel like I'm way behind everyone else.

Its not that hard man. Grab your WUD and extract it. you make 3 folders on the SD card and then copy some files over.

just do it literally, step by step (day by day lol) and you will make progress. if you fail, do it over. rip your hair out if you want, then read it again and try 1 more time.

How to get the WUD is the problem, no one has established as to how that is to be done. That's the problem. Please reread my post, I state that very problem in it, not where to get them, but how I personally get the WUD. Why can't people answer that? I get the feeling that people are purposely avoiding the method I go about for the how-to on getting my own WUD files.

He's just saying that in a little bit they will probably be "distributed" in their pre-extracted form

Right now you download them as compressed WUD's (zipped) so they're like 6-12GB downloads. Since we can load the RPX and content (Wii Sports Club is 650MB) without needing the ENTIRE WUD, they might start popping up just as those smaller bits instead.

Of course full WUD's will always get released too, but when the vital pieces are 5%-10% of the original size (uncompressed) I imagine they'll make there way online as well.

I'm sure they will. I'm just saying this is just the beginning of things. Time would be better spent using another method I know to create dumps anyways if you ask me, unless some tools I don't know about are out there. (I'm sure they are out there, maybe private tho lol)

well @golden45 was supposed to be releasing his rpx dumper....as for WUD files, unless the wiikeyU makes a sudden reappearance i would imagine plain old rips will be the only way any of these dumps are even playable....so whats the point really in releasing bloated 23GB files for the sake of games that are as small as 140mb....yeah im sure they will still be getting released, but the sites end users go on would probably end up with plenty of "pre-setup" packs that are so easy the randomizer can do it
