I just released my Hate Plus themes! I was very inspired haha.
Cwavs were shamelessly borrowed from HexZyle's theme on the previous page - it turns out the sfx for the games are exactly the same. These themes do have Hate Plus music: Vision, Resolve and Bicker.

I'm very keen for CHHM theme shuffle support now, so many themes and I want to use them all!
btw, I decided to recreate the top screen image from assets rather than shrink a screenshot. My all-in-one psd can be found here if anyone wants to play with it for their own theme - some of Hyun-ae's other costumes might be fun!

Sexy! The color scheme looks very well done. Will definitely be using these :D

I did the same for my themes regarding assembling them from assets. So much easier to get the perfect sizes for things (plus shrinking down to the 3DS can cause pixelation in wierd areas, so you have to try some things out so the characters don't look like they're missing their mouth, or have beauty spots near their nose or something)

I had plans for doing an Old *Mute and New *Mute theme as well :) (I just love Old *Mute's BGM) but I don't mind if you do it better :P

That reminds me. I should get around to doing a half-face pixel art avatar of *Mute

To be honest lol I was browsing VNDB one day when I opened up Hate Plus's page (before I had completed the game) and as a kneejerk reaction to spoiler tags, (been on forums too long) hit the reveal spoilers button XD
The tag that was there was a pretty difficult to brush off since there's only two characters in the game xD
And one of them had died already.

Thanks! Those colours took longer to figure out than the art tbh.
After a little while I decided to start again and plan it all out properly, which really helped and will make it so much easier next time.
My planning was basically to choose 2 colours for each theme, and use 3 different shades of them. Putting everything in the right place is still a little time consuming but with a plan it all works.
I kinda feel the the people you read about do count as characters... maybe not in Analogue but Plus had the pictures of them, which was just that liiiiittle push that made it easier to keep track of them. I think they might fit alright in a theme with the nice focusing reading music.

Well, the audio file is a reasonable volume on one theme but way too soft on another so the sound effects practically hurt your ears. I think it has to do with the themes themselves rather than the bgm file, but I'm wondering what value affects the volumes of the music and sound effects.
DL for relevant files (because it's too large to attach) : https://www.dropbox.com/s/yiw2g56o6hkuoz9/theme_volume_differences.zip?dl=0
body_LZ_badvolume.bin is the one with the contrast, so you'll want to rename it to test it out.
BGM is Afraid from Koumajou Densetsu II, but I will not use it in the final version of this particular theme. I'm just using it as an example.

Both themes for me appear identical in filesize, and have identical volume levels. That being said, the theme is pretty quiet on both.
The .bin file doesn't affect anything regarding the bgm. It's likely that you messed up somewhere regarding theme changing (if you tested it on your 3DS) or with volume levels on your computer (if you tested it on your PC)

Great, now I've got Solar Sect of Mystic Wisdom stuck in my head

Hi! I bring you a "Dark" Zelda theme for our 3DS.

The image of the upper screen is a concept art of the Dark World from A Link to the Past, it was not made by me, I just found it in Google, Benjamin Walton is the author of the artwork.

The background music is a cropped version of the Main Theme Medley of the The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Orchestra CD.

I wanted to keep it simple so that's why I didn't modify a lot of things :P

I am currently working on a One Piece theme and I would love to have some of the catchphrases like "Gomu gomu no Pistol!", "SUUUPER!", "Strong Right!", etc. as sound effects.
Would anyone happen to know where I could find them? :)

And here you go.
It features sound effects such as the Kamehameha and Ki blast sounds.
Ki Blast = Cursor
Kamehameha is in 2 parts. Part 1 the start of the beam is when closing apps. Part 2 the fire of the beam is when confirming.
Launching games is the select sound from Xenoverse.
Enjoy.

hey everyone... I make custom themes and im taking requests... rules are in my signature...
So I heard that some people are taking requests. I would love Fire Emblem if / Fates themes based on Corrin, Takumi, Leo(n), Ryo(u)ma and Suzukaze, but only one of them at a time on a theme.
And maybe Oni Link and Zora Link if you want some Zelda. But again, only one of them at a time.
Only if you have a lot of free time, that is. Thanks a lot! :D

Its been quite a bit since my last theme, so I'm finally uploading this iDOLM@STER theme featuring Miki Hoshii. A lot of work went into this theme, since the touch screen cycles through a cute little dancing animation rendered from the Taiko no Tatsujin games (I left Don and Katsu in the background since I thought they were real cute).

I had to manually render Miki out of the background and re-position her center stage. I don't know how to adequately use PhotoShop, so I had to use Colors! 3D to accomplish this. Also, one of her legs was blocked off by the foreground, so I had to redraw several parts, too. The custom sound effects are from the iDOLM@STER Dearly Stars DS game, the BGM is a short version of ONLY MY NOTE (M@STER VERSION), and the folders are themed after the iDOLM@STER logo. The end result is pretty neat!

Anyway!

This theme features:
  • SFX (iDOLM@STER Dearly Stars)
  • Cycling Touch Screen (Miki Hoshii Dance Steps [Taiko no Tatsujin])
  • BGM (ONLY MY NOTE [M@STER VERSION])
  • Folders (iDOLM@STER Logo)
  • Borders (A Simple, Pink Design)
  • CHMM Preview

I really enjoyed this theme, and it has inspired me to create my own idolm@ster themes with the Cinderella Girls series. Though, I hope you don't mind me using your design for the folders. That issue is what made me sign up on this site in the first place.

So here are the themes I've made so far:

The downloads can be found on 3dsthemes.

Hey people, newbie here
well, after looking the entire 3dsthemes sites, i liked only a few of the megaman themes, so i did one myself
Preview.png

This is Mega Legacy, it's not perfect, i did on a single cropped image and i got a few misses (like volnutt arm) but i liked the results
The BGM i used is the Homage to Megaman special remix of the Anniversary collection
