I want to know, what makes the kernel edits not permanent?(why do you have to run the kernel exploit everytime you start the Wii U?)
Your exploiting volatile memory, once reset that memory is gone.I want to know, what makes the kernel edits not permanent?(why do you have to run the kernel exploit everytime you start the Wii U?)
Because the kernel is in RAM (and edited in RAM) and RAM is temporary storage for things.I want to know, what makes the kernel edits not permanent?(why do you have to run the kernel exploit everytime you start the Wii U?)
It doesn't install to the console, it just modifies stuff already in RAM. RAM is always cleared whenever you power an electronic device off, so you have to re-apply the changes on rebootI want to know, what makes the kernel edits not permanent?(why do you have to run the kernel exploit everytime you start the Wii U?)
