Hi
I have followed all of the steps in the modmii. I load my Fat32 formatted sd card in the wii and clicked on the envelope and all I get is a blank black screen. I am using 4.3U.
I also previously tried using letterbomb and get stuck on this screen. http://imgur.com/ghbThdA
I don't know if these problems are mutual.

The horrible thing about Wii Homebrew: "creators" use crappy "free" hosts which are now dead and you can't even download these apps.

You can still download modmii from the google code page, but indeed, maybe some homebrew is not downloadable anymore.
That said, i think there was someone in this thread that had set up a backup server or something...just read back a bit.

  • Block Disc Updates
  • Block Online Updates
  • Replace Health Screen
  • Move Disc Channel
  • Install WADs stuck stuck stuck stuck
  • This problem I'm stuck. my black wii with black control. controlen shuts off and you can not navigate or select options. the only thing that works is the power button.
  • what do I do to get on with instaltionen.
  • do not know if it has been previously mood.
  • description.
  • Load Multi-Mod Manager (MMM) via the HomeBrew Channel.
If IOS236 is not already loaded, select "Load another IOS", then select IOS236
Note: If this step fails with error -ret 2011 or other, you may need to retry patching IOS236. If the Wii was previously softmodded, you can try loading cIOS250 (or others like 202,222,223,224,236,249)

In Multi-Mod Manager's main menu, go down to select "WAD Manager".
Install the following WADs from the WAD folder (this list of WADs is unique to the information you provided ModMii).
Be careful not to install any additional WADs that may have been previously saved in this folder (they may be safe, but I cannot say for sure).

Mark each of the following WADs for installation by navigating to each WAD and hitting "+"
Alternatively, you can hold "+" for 2 seconds to select all the WADs in the folder.
After you've marked all the WADs listed below, press 'A' twice to install them.

If any files fail to install properly, they will remain marked for installation, so just retry installing those files.

Your unique list of WADs to install are as follows:
    • IOS11v16174(IOS60v6174[FS-ES-NP-VP-DIP])
    • IOS20v16174(IOS60v6174[FS-ES-NP-VP-DIP])

    • SD+USB:\apps\usbloader_gx\boot.dol
    • SD+USB:\apps\usbloader_gx\boot.elf

Note: IOS58 is required for the forwarder to launch apps from an SD Card and hard drives formatted as FAT32, NTFS, ext2, ext3 and ext4. It also supports meta.xml arguments and is able to launch apps with direct hardware access.

Hi!
I need some help.
I have a chiped Wii (Ver. 4.3.E) but don't know what a chip is it. The chip was installed in 2007 and in 2008 the Wii was stored in a box until 2015 when I and my kid start to use it again.

Chip code written on it: 12f675 I/P (E3) 2yf 0709 - the E3 is in a circle.

Now to the real question.
Can I Modmii my Wii with this chip or must I do something ells (remove chip, some other installs, ...)?

Thank you for your help. Or better my kid is thanking you. :)

The ModMii website at modmii.zzl.org keeps going offline, it's actually down more often than it's not. So I've mirrored the website at another address.

The new website can be found at www.tinyurl.com/modmiiwebpage2
(or www.modmii.comuf.com)

On an unrelated note, earlier tonight I started some new sites for some new projects

theRenamerHelper is a windows application designed to be launched by uTorrent to performs various functions when downloads are queued and\or finished. Torrent labels such as “TV” or “teamviewer” can be used to automate tasks like organizing your media library as it downloads, moving or copying downloads to whatever folder(s) you choose, all while sending optional Kodi\XBMC notifications to one more machines when downloads start or complete, and the list goes on with even more functions like launching teamviewer, killing tasks, etc.

Hey man, you should consider either creating a new app for Wii U or adding the ability to download files for hacking the vWii part of WiiU.
That would be nice B-)

I've had a pre-homebrewed Wii for awhile now but I always wondered how outdated a lot of the patches were.. So I manually reinstalled HBC and BootMii (easy stuff) but as far as the rest of the IOS stuff I wasn't sure since there was YEARS of development to catch up.

Long story.. This worked perfect to grab all the latest wads I wasn't sure that were or weren't install.. Flawless victory.. Thank you..

Hi,

I need some help with an Wii.
It's a white Wii, I traded it with a friend for my DS(We both did almost every thing we wanted with our consoles), and it came to me modded, and he bought from someone else, already modded.

Problem is, I don't know if it was hardmoded or softmoded. From the much I've learned, it was hardmoded, because there is no homebrew channel in the menu. It runs Gamecube games, as well as Wii games directly through the Wii disk, like if it was original.

So I put a backup of Just Dance 2014 to play, and it requires a software upgrade. I refused, and decided to play something else, but still, I like this game. And I'm getting an error loading Monster Hunter Tri and Zelda Twilight Princess, when I try to play, I get a disk read error, maybe some error in the burning, I burned with Alcohol 120% at 3x(The minimum it would let me).

Should I Modmii it, so I don't need to burn any more DVDs or look for DVD9s to play games like Xenoblade?
Is there a problem, if the Wii is already hardmoded, to softmod it? Is there a chance to brick just by this combination?

I want to continue to play games by DVD, because I have some original DVDs, like Smash, but I would want to play using an external HD, it would save me a lot of time and some money with new games.

Any help? Please? Pretty please?

I modded it and it worked.

But I'm not getting the files for the USB Loader. I used the option to get both Configurable USB Loader and Wiiflow, and when I got to the folder, it was empty.

EDIT: I went on the thread of the CUSBL and downloaded it, but now I want an fowarder for it. Anyone has links? The links that I found were offline
