Yes you do but you can have the games installed on the 3ds before you update to the new 9.6 update and then make a NNID then your good to go.

I found a eshop bug and its a good one

When you install your legit cia use Rxtools to update your emunand to the new 9.6 then after that boot your game with it go back to home then load up Eshop then click on the game that you have a legit cia of in the store it will tell you that you have it downloaded then after that turn off your 3ds put in a new SD install the rxTools and boot intoo emunand update it then go to eshop then it will let you redownload the game.

How the actual FUCK do I do that? Do I use PBT-CFW to install the legit CIA and create an EmuNAND through rxTools (What CIA Installer can I use in PBT-CFW?)?

yes you use PBT cfw to install to system nand and then use gateway's .dat file format emunand with that after you have your CIA's installed then update emunand use RX tools go to the store you will see that it says downloaded when you look up that game then all you have to do is put in a new sd card do a new emunand with your same NNID then download the game or just update your sysnand if you have a nand mod then download the game from the store.

also BBM to install the CIA thats what i did.


If need be when i do a nand mod on my 3ds xl i will post pics or a video showing this.

I just found out by looking after you redownload the game from the eshop it still does not show it in your redownload list or download list at all so ya this can prob be fixed down the road.

yes right or you can update your system nand if you have a nand mod if some one wont's too. yes if you have the 9.6 emunand on some other SD card as long as you put in the same NNID then your good to go.

Good point but its for tho's who like formated there sd card or did not won't to have to downgrade to get this like before and there is 0% chance of bricking downloading them from the eshop unlike reinstalling cia's to system nand

Actually I think the install is gonna fail since the game requires a way higher firmware than 4.5

id say it would not be legal because they do not own the game to start with. But if you were to do it what others/cops don't know won't hurt them.
