ROM Hack Animal Crossing New Leaf Saves [All Villagers/Items]

So there goes another question:
I found only a .3ds version of animal crossing US, but i do not want to play it online anyway, i can just use local mode for giving myself stuff on another 3ds right ?
this will not put me into the risk of getting banned right ? I know that no one knows for sure, but maybe someone knows if this header injecting etc is needed at all for local multiplayer ?

Sorry about the portraits, I never collected them. I knew a friend who had them all, but she had a busy life and couldn't get me all the pictures.
That was around the time i started making save backups too. To me, getting them all is pointless. Getting the ones you want is more reasonable.

Nobody has been banned yet and you can play online. Yes you can use local play to trade to another 3DS offline without wifi. Absolutely no risk that way.

A .3ds version is just fine for sharing locally, ie, when you use the option to visit a "nearby" town. You only connect with the other 3DS/2DS so there's no interaction with Nintendo at all, so no risk of being banned. This is how I share these animals personally so I know it works.

Sure, it's the same as someone connecting online from a US to EU copy, there's no region restrictions on visiting towns in AC. Your gateway rom just has to be a 3dz version with a proper header like any other game if you want to do it online (as above, locally won't give you any complaint either way).

Matt: mentioned, using the villager saves and time warping to april fools day to get the pictures i want, when i find the time though....
Matt and troa11 : Thanks both of you for confirming that it is safe to use my .3ds rom offline, i mean local multiplayer, i don´t want to mess with this header stuff, most of my online games are cia installs, some are as .3dz which i have dumped from my own owned games, so perfect headers for them. For new released online games, i will just borrow them from friends for dumping or find an cia install.
Oy yeah and Matt: there is a thread about some people reporting some ban of sorts...Thats why i am a bit more cautious atm...

And as sidenote: Your saves working like a charm on a US .3ds rom of ACNL Just did a quick test yesterday, but as a friend is moving in real life and is "boxed" i had much to do with helping her

Thanks for the offer, I really appreciate it! I've been hoping to be lucky enough to find someone who had them all. Right now I'm not sure if I need them, I'll let you know if I change my mind :3
Plus I might take down my special town saves, I'm afraid of the ban rumor going around and everyone using my saves would be risky.
I should have all the clothing, but I have no idea where I have it. I have some rare clothing in my rare item town. I don't think I have every rare clothing though.

And Matt, rest assured i will NEVER go online with your saves, as i am also afraid a bit of this ban rumor, i will only transfer the stuff via local multiplayer. Good (for me at least) that i already downloaded your savefiles though...
Once its all transferred, there should also be no risk in sharing stuff from my legit game to others via online multiplayer right ?

I'd like to help. But it really took me a while to get savedatafiler working. Hope I got the right file uploaded.

Retail cart (with savegame in built-in nand) backup by gateway 3.0.1, renamed to .3dz, can load savegame correctly now. It wasn't working no matter renamed to .3ds or .3dz before.

That sounds perfect! Is his rom the USA version? This is a huge favor to all of us!
I'm excited that I didn't have to dupe them or anything, they're all here. Its gonna feel so great to be like "Here you can have my entire collection of portraits" xD

I think it is not necessary to have one from me, as the one from orochi is just working perfectly fine

A side question to you Matt: Where did you hide the golden fishing rod and the golden bug net in your saves ? I just found the golden axe, the golden shovel and the golden watering can, the golden slingshot i had already by myself.

I am currently at transferring bells to get my bank account up to 100 Million Very time consuming stuff, but way better than collecting this amount by myself through normal gameplay, seems nearly impossible...
Next step will be the museum art for donations, after that will be some rare stuff like furniture etc, one by one, but it really takes a alot of time

I never had the golden bug net or fishing rod, I never wanted to have them because I thought I'd look bad. But everyone has them so I might as well lol
I don't have them anywhere in my saves, I earned the gold tools myself.

Edit: I added the villager portraits save to the main post. I turned this thread into a public Animal Crossing Save submission thread. If only I could change the title.

I removed my saves because I'm afraid of sharing my header. So the item town saves are gone for now. I still have them uploaded though.

I can't import the stitches save, the unique i of the save is 0x00865 and it fails to import, I even have my own dumped cia of acnl, the us version...

That's SO true! I just realized that the header is in the user's rom, not in the save. That's good news for me! I'm gonna post the link to the special town saves, thanks for pointing that out.

Also I haven't tried your villager portraits save, but I wanted to ask you. Are the portraits ordered and easy to find, or randomly placed? Also, Are they in a safe place where villagers can't move on them? I want to know what in-game date you used last when you created the save, so I can write that date on the save .zip file so that everyone can time travel back to the same day where nobody moved yet. That's how I have my special item town saves protected from villagers.
