Hardware DS4 to Wii (or recommend me a good PS2 controller)

Does anyone know if there is a reliable way of using a Dualshock 4 controller on a Wii? I know there was news of an adapter coming out, but I heard nothing about it in months.

If not, can anyone recommend a good PS2 controller (has to be wired) that I could use? (I'm using a PS2 to Wii adapter, but I'm finding the D-Pad a bit stiff).

You can use the DS4 in Emulators and Nintendont. Just connect it to the top port of the Wii

Edit: You have to look what emulators supports the DS4

Thanks, I'll have a look at that. Which is the top port if you don't mind me asking? (I've been out of the loop for a while in the Wii hacking scene so sorry for being dumb). Also, where can I see which emulators support the DS4? Do I have to check the readme for each emulator I want to try?

Oh sorry I was referring to the top USB Port, Check here in the subforuma for the emulators.

I've been checking the subforums, I know which emulators exist, but I just can't figure out which ones support HID compatible devices (I'm specifically looking for a SNES emulator that supports them).

Well the libs to use the DS4 in home brew exists so, somewhere in the internet is a RetroArch or some SnesGX mod to use the DS4. I'll investigate and post the results.

Even though this is for sixaxis, it works great for what I need. Thanks.
I'm gonna see if there's a fork of retroarch that uses this library, since I want to use a button combo to save/reload.
