Trying to get this setup on my freshly softmodded vWii. It was working fine at first, but when I tried using a USB stick to store ISOs instead of my SD card, the games started freezing at the Nintendo logo. Even if I move the games back to the SD card and load from there, it happens there too now. Tried loading Super Mario Sunshine and Luigi's Mansion, both have the same issue. (Although, Luigi's Mansion freezes at the red nintendo logo and doesn't fade out, where as Super Mario Sunshine gets past the Dolby logo and freezes on the following black screen. I'm assuming these are roughly the same issue as both are at the end of their respective logo sequences.)
I've tried formatting both the USB stick and the SD card to FAT32 with 32kb clusters, deleting the nincfg.bin, and playing with video settings, none of these worked. Tried waiting a few minutes to see if it was just loading slowly, didn't work either.
Debug output for Luigi's Mansion: http://pastebin.com/XTz8LLsC
Does anyone else get lag random lag at the cut scenes on Super Mario Sunshine?
I'm using a SanDisk Extreme 45mb/s SDHC 16GB plugged into the front of the Wii U via the SD slot, what's generally faster the sd slot on the front or either of the USB slots?Lagging during cutscenes is generally caused by the device where the game is installed being slow.
Are you using USB or the internal SD slot and type of device are you using?

Thanks for the info dude very helpful I'll switch to USB for loading games thenI have found the front SD slot on the Wii U to be slow as I would get lag during the intro of Mario Kart: Double Dash so I just use a USB SD Reader on the Top Rear USB slot. You must use the Top Rear USB slot for Nintendont to see the games. The front USB slots cannot be used in vWii mode as of now.
Your TV is probably stretching it. You can fix that in your TV settings.I'm having a weird issue with the aspect ratio when running super mario sunshine it seems to force a widescreen mode even when force widescreen is off, is it possible to play sunshine in the naitive 4:3 aspect ratio? Fantastic work so far on nintendont btw
Speaking of which, this was the original icon I made.I created a new Nintendont icon for myself and figured I'd share it in case anyone else wanted to use it:
Difference between this image and the original:
Created from scratch
Uses the font GameCuben by Bleutuna
Font is centered
65% smaller than original image
The main reason I created this is because the original was messing with my OCD due to its font placement, though it's still not perfect due to the image dimensions. This was created in about five minutes and is meant to be a clone of the original.

Confirmed.I've been testing the new GUI. Thanks JoostinOnline for all your work!
I have to report that sometimes, when I press X to update while I'm in the settings menu, the screen doesn't show the update menu, but if I press for example X again, it starts to update the titles.txt file. If I don't press X and I press B instead, for a little time it shows the update menu and then it goes back to the settings menu. Sometimes it works ok and shows the update menu screen normally.
If I press the X button for a longer time, it seems to always work, but not with a "fast" button press.
I'm on a Wii Family, using a Classic Controller Pro, Wiimote with motion plus incorporated, if it matters.
EDIT: also, when I start a game for the first time, it says that it can't create a memory card file... and returns to the Homebrew Channel. But the game had a memory card created before. The next time I try to load the same game, it loads.
EDIT2: What I said in the first EDIT doesn't happen with all my games... Only happened with Pokémon XD [GXXE01] and Mario Kart Double Dash [GM4E01]. The rest of my games all worked at first try.
Thanks for the response JoostinOnline, I can manually set the aspect ratio on my TV but I'm aiming to play games on the Wii U Gamepad since the games don't look so great on a 42" and it seems that most games I'm playing are stretched in a 4:3 aspect ratio. I've ended up using the Widescreen Cheat code. Regardless this stuff blows my mind really quite surprised to find that this is even possible, Thanks for all the help guys and to the developers of Nintendont for the amazing work. I'll be donating as soon as I get some cash spare for sureYour TV is probably stretching it. You can fix that in your TV settings.

So the update issue only happens sometimes? I own Double Dash, so I'll see if I can replicate the issue. Are you sure it wasn't a problem before this latest update?I've been testing the new GUI. Thanks JoostinOnline for all your work!

cut memcard emu access time in half since after testing it doesnt seem to cause any problems
I'll try rendering the menu twice to see if it appears. It's pretty late and I have to get up early so I can't test it out now.Yes, the update screen issue happens sometimes.
I'll test with previous revisions and see if it happens the same with the memory card issue.
(Also, I tested it only with games that had a save file, never with a new game)
EDIT: On r216 I've got the "can't create memory card" error too (again, randomly), so that it's not fault of the new GUI . Still, the update screen shows correctly everytime I press X on this revision.
Now I'm trying on r215...
EDIT: Ok, so far, I've got the "can't create memory card" error on r217 and r216. It's veeery random: I can't reproduce the error. Most of the times the game loads just fine, and in some cases, after selecting the game it shows just a black screen (or that message) and returns to the Homebrew Channel.
I've tested it with r215 too, but I couldn't reproduce the error. All the time I loaded the games, they booted fine. Originally I was on r213 and I updated today to r217. On r213 (and previous too) I've never had this issue. So I guess it's fault of this change on r215?
That's not a Nintendont problem. That's a Wiiflow problem. Run it from the HBC.I've never been able to get Nintendont up and running :/
I was careful with the settings in Wiiflow and to make all the paths and filenames correct. But the GC isos won't show up in the coverflow. When I try to select Gamecube as the source (on the page with 5 different icons), the message "*DISABLED*" appears. I've tried a stable release of Nintendont from July, plus the newest one. Any ideas why I can't access any Gamecube isos?
