If I knnow myself well,I'll never see this as a problem Even though i got a 3ds xl on 4.5 and gateway and perma sucking ROMs. I'll most likely end up buying the new 3ds anyways, which will solve my problem. Spare your pop corns on me, I'm home safe.

What happened, you ask? Schadenfreude. A very useful and appropriate word, given the GW's current predicament.

Edit: Clarification, not so much schadenfreude on the user, but the Gateway Team as a whole.

Just a clarification for those who say the full game won't work, eshop items (games,demos etc) might be signed with keys like the DSiWare ones.
Most probably the game will work on the latest Gateway revision so you won't have to worry.

What predicament would that be? One user reporting a problem with running a demo of a game that isn't even out yet? Even if it isn't a fluke and the game doesn't run under Gateway's most recent revision, they'll end up fixing it like they have time and time again.

Well, I can't argue with that, hackers always find a way, even if it takes a long time, no system is truly or permanently unhackable I have my reasons for feeling a certain way towards GW, that is all, no more, no less. I respect their tastes and preferences as I have mine, we can agree to disagree on why people love or hate the GW

Gateway don't support the piracy, they don't going to reply your mail.
I thing that the people said that is the end of gateway it's because don't have a 3ds compatible.
I have gateway seems the launch and is getting better and better. New encrypt?? Maybe but noting that gateway can't fix.

Gateway doesn't support piracy? What? Until fairly recently, the flashcard was good ONLY for piracy. And besides, it isn't piracy. The OP downloaded the demo off the eShop.

Some guy is confirming that te demo works on Gateway on his japanese 3ds and emunand ,dont worry, im tottaly noob here but it seems that he changed it to 3dz and inyecting the header or something!

hmm sorry buddy, so maybe if we were to buy the game off the eshop it wouldn't work...
still, there is a chance the physical dump would work on gateway...
i guess gateway will fix it, i have a legit japanese 3ds for this stuff anyway

Nah will try, it's saying about how many times can you use it, also to visit the eshop

That's not how demos work. They aren't ROMs. You can't just open a eShop release and magically hack it like that.

it's weird cause the old encryption was causing 3ds to freeze at the 3ds logo screen and not a black screen
