Hacking [HOW-TO] Use Scene Dumps with GW 2.2 Online

When you say: "Saves from Scene games doesn't seem to work" Do you mean that the game won't save, or that it will overwrite the data from a different dump? I'm sorta confused on this.

if you played the game as a .3ds rom, you cannot carry that save over if you switch to a online capable rom (.3dz) if you start the same game but as .3dz format it will automatically delete your previous save in most cases (pokemon doesn't it asks you if you want to delete it though and you cant play unless you switch the rom back to .3ds or agree to delete the save and start over)
same goes for the other way around or if you switch the header in the .3dz rom for a different header

Is there a European scene dump of MK7 v1.1? I lost my MK7 (have a backup) and the American version when I patch the header does not realise I accepted the agreement :/ What can I do? Is there a European dump? I presume it's a region issue.

I had the same problem with it not working when I used a US one so I switched to using the BBB one: Mario.Kart.7.Update.Data.1.1.EUR.3DSWare.3DS-BigBlueBox
I couldn't get it to work with the Metal Gear header, but the Kirby one worked fine

I tried to rename it to 3dz and patch header but it doesn't work.

I have retail copy of MK7, but I want play online.
I download 1.1 rom of mk7, and patch it with my mk7 header. Can I use my retail save dump with this rom?

well.. it wont read your old save data from .3ds when u try to play it on .3dz and i think it would be the same when u try to play .3dz save on .3ds game..

How does this work with 4gb roms? I'm trying to play resident evil revelations online so I inserted the MGS header in the rom and changed the extension to .3dz. Now I need to split the rom because of 2gb max on my fat32 sd. If I split them I get a .3d0 and .3d1 file. Do I need to change those extensions as well? Or am I good now?

Use exfat format that way you dont have split files. Does metal gear solid even have online play?

Edit. Oh mgs header on RE:R. RE:R online works for me but my micros are exfat. I dont see why it shouldnt work in the split files. Maybe change the 3d0 and 3d1 to 3ds insert header and change name back.....

Also, though, be aware that exFAT can issue problems. (The data fragmentation error, mostly.) I went to fat32, and everything's better.
