I love them, I just wish they were wireless Wii U pro controllers, but with the same designs. The reason being two-fold: Rumble built in the controller, and the controller would be completely wireless.

I like the new c-stick... just wish they hooked up to the GC adapter and not Wii remotes. Oh well, we can't always have it our way I suppose.

The D-pad looks usable! ..the only problem is that it connects to the wiimote instead of going in the GC adapter.. ..other then that, seems to be a awesome controller

GC controllers have rumble.. ..don't know why this would be different (well ..hope its not)

Its a Wii classic controller. Classic controllers (or any wired controller to a wiimote for that matter) aren't designed to receive a signal about rumble (except for nyko's nunchuck but thats only because it has a special extra little connection thingy that connects to Nyko's special Wand Wiimotes that receives those signals). There are a few occasions where Nintendo will have your wiimote rumble while connected to a classic controller, but thats not nearly the same.

These controllers would have been sweet if they were GC controllers, but classic controller pro, I don't think I've even used one of those in years. I'd much rather have the Wii U gamecube controller adapter. They would make great collectibles except they're third party controllers and don't think there's much value in a third party controller. I cant wait to see what new Gamecube controller Nintendo is going to release.

These are just Wii Classic Controller Pro in terms of input and function. No rumble. No analog+click L/R triggers. No Gamecube gaming on backward compatible Wii consoles.

Here's the description from their own site

Officially Licensed by Nintendo
Replica GameCube Controller – Preferred Fight pad for the Super Smash Bros fan
Completely compatible with upcoming Super Smash Bros for Wii U
Compatible with all Wii/Wii U games that support Classic Controller and Classic Controller Pro, as well as most Nintendo Virtual Console games
Select your favorite Nintendo character - Mario, Princess Peach, or Yoshi

Clearly they have the innards of a CCP.
No SSB Melee with Dios Mios or with actual disc.

The upcoming 30$ Nintendo wired GC controller is far more interesting.

The GameCube Controller Adapter for Wii U, which supports up to four GCN controllers (including WaveBird), will be available for $19.99 USD.

Nintendo will also sell Smash Bros. branded GameCube controllers for $29.99 USD each. Lastly, a special Smash Bros. for Wii U bundle, which includes a copy of the game, one adapter, and a GCN controller, will be sold for $99.99 USD.

Up until this announcement, if you wanted to smell a freshly unboxed sealed official Nintendo GC controller in 2014 you had to shell out a ton of cash on ebay.

That Wii U gamecube controller adapter is where my money is going. I've got a wavebird and a few wired gc controllers but want to see some special edition gc controllers being released.

Is it possible to simply make a classic controller to GameCube port connector? That might solve the rumble issue. Then, they could simply plug into the GameCube controller adapter.

Don't be so sure about that, at least. Since classic controllers (not the Pro one) have analog triggers.. ..this could easily be based on that.

Yeah, in fact, I'm betting they do have analog triggers as they probably want those controllers to feel as much like GC controllers as possible, and indeed as you pointed out, the the original Wii classic controllers (not the pro models) did have analog triggers.
