Why did they price it at $129? It was barely selling at $99...
I'm not sure if I should take this as an insult towards the Dreamcast or a compliment towards the OUYA...
Quick question, if my intention for buying an Ouya is purely as an emulation box, would you still recommend it or would I be better off just buying a generic Android box/stick?
The White OUYA has 16 gigs of ram, compared to the 8 gigs in the standard model. Frankly I think adding the extra storage is silly when you can easily expand with a USB hard drive but, oh well.
so much negativity in this thread. which if you actually own a OUYA and can honestly comment on it? the system is at gamestop, target, and bestbuy now. according to what i read, it is selling well. there are something like 500 games/apps on the OUYA store and a side-loading development community bringing more over. i'd like to see you come up with another 1080p portable emulation box with great pick-up-and-play experiences for $99.

its 16 GB of internal storage, microSD i assume, tho i have not opened one up yet. the system still has 1 GB of RAM, just like KS units. you can expand storage with a USB stick, so what you are really paying for is a white unit that will not be sold in stores. it isn't worth the extra $30 in my opinion. perhaps if it came in an actual color, blue, green, orange, anything, and some money for the OUYA store.

i didn't mean there is a slot, i'm assuming the internal storage is a msd card you can't get to without opening the shell.
