Like I said, the saves for earlier games that ran under the 4.x firmware were decrypted. As far as I know the current 6. games use a different encryption that has not been broken yet. If those products work with Pokemon X Y (or Fire Emblem) I would be happy to throw money at whoever can get one in my hands the fastest.

EDIT: I don't comp Moonspeak, but the Datel device appears to not be so much a save editor as a save adjuster. Including a set of pre-tweaked saves and a tools to make changes to base saves; not clear on if it will edit preexisting saves. Still, pretty cool; just not quite what we're talking about here.

I have the Datel Powersaves. You can use their saves, or even make changes to your own :)
It does not support Animal Crossing and Pokemon X/Y yet

Details are light though. There's nothing that expressly says that "This product will let you edit your existing save files", just talks about customizers and "available" edits to "Powersaves". I just don't think this is going to do what you want it to. Or what I want it to for that matter.

Wonder Trade is actually a good way to approach this problem because the injecting (once we have a tool) will never hit anywhere near Nintendo's reach. They can't see that the incoming pokemon is edited, so in theory (unless the game itself is doing the legitimacy checking) we can have whatever we want transferred into our own games. That's great news for people who want to see favorite pokemon from other games.

If someone feels like going online and trying to troll people with their tricked out Luvdisc, well, so be it. I guess we need to come to grips with the fact that we live in a world where you can't go online and talk to strangers and expect them to play fair and treat you nicely. It should come as a shock to nobody that Nintendo has failed to cure society's ills.

Wonder Trade method is not secure. You're online and Nintendo & GF are monitoring everything in Pokemon. All the trades get recorded in the Global Link. Nintendo actually BAN people hacking on Pokemon Online. Did you know that? And this time around they are more strict.

Wondertrade is currently the only possible method, until GTS encryption is cracked...
We can't modify the savegames,
- digital version saves are encrypted with the hidden 3DS savedata key -> impossible to edit without an exploit
- retail version saves are saved onto the NAND and not on the EEPROM -> no current dongle can dump that save
and both are protected with an anti-save-tamper protection which will also need a 3ds exploit to fix.

They can't keep track of trades not made with the real server. Even so, Nintendo never did anything when they kept track of B/W real trades.

Basically it is the return of the deleted pokemon glitch. It's rare but in g2 when you cloned pokemon in your boxes too often, the clones could cause some non-clones to disappear. Rather than clones causing it however, it is the mystery egg in this generation.

EvilMakiPR: You seem to not know what you are talking about.

Datel works with Fire Emblem!? Great, that means it will work on Pokemon as well. There is no way that two different companies use different encryptionfor there data. =/

Smealum has a custom FW running on his 3DS so he has access to it's RAM. He changed the encounter lookup tables to force Pokemon to show up. He is not changing the saves. You would know this if you actually read his twitter (or it should be obvious from the images and how most of the encounters have levels they shouldn't have).

Secondly, the Bad Egg from WonderTrade is an issue that has be around since 10/13/13 (1 day after the game release). Here is a video of one -
If you could kindly explain how the PKX editor and all this messing about has gone back in time to create Bad Eggs, by all means please.

Maybe, you should do some research before you just post stuff. Don't just buy into everything you are told.

That's a hardware (RAM) hack, not a save hack, it's like action replay / cheat engine on hardware basis.
The bad egg rumor seams fake, the bad egg exist as anti-error protection, but i don't belief that it infects other pokemon.

Bad eggs back in the day generations 2/3 corrupted saves into an unrestorable state, if you had too many. I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow did the same to your pokemon.

Wasn't there also a guy who played is game with his 3ds time travelled to a date before the 3ds came out for animal crossing useage. He didn't change it back for pokemon and he kept getting bad eggs? Or was that guy proven false?

I think I've figured out the checksum. I've been working on an injector all night and I managed to influence the WT. I'll release the datapacket and my basic prog if I can duplicate it, going to do a couple of test runs but after using CM's process I tweaked and added. I'm also fairly certain I can replicate what Smea did.

I'm going to give this a shot and report back with everything if it works or announce myself as the Queen of idiots who should sleep - if it does work I'm posting vids out the whuahloo.

I'm in there but I don't see a lot of chatter, will update with info soon. I'm not a hundred percent what I thought I had accomplished will work, the ''fake'' host server I made is talking with WT but is stalling out, the checksum is allowing the packet to be recognized, so I know that's not the issue. I have to find out why it won't go through. I even have the 3DS recognizing the trade and the trade partner. This is frustrating.

Hmm maybe a video would help with those who can help u in return with the issue. IDK. Just a suggestion.

EDIT: mostly bull shit in the irc chat of project. Arguing going on about some guy who claims his save was deleted when a pokemon was received but the connection hanged.

*sigh I was hoping to see some productive chat going on in there.
