Rose-tinted glasses, I see.
Is it even worth my effort to find a bunch of clips of Drew making a joke and the audience not laughing?
The times he screws up themselves are rather funny because then people make fun of Drew for it... but the humor he attempts to contribute from behind the desk isn't nearly as good as the stage stuff.
The difference being Drew's are far more common. There's tons of episodes where the comedians have made jokes and got no laughs at all. Greg Proops (who's really good) even did one.
I knooooooow right? They pretty much had the perfect set up.Thank god!
But!
They'll have to keep the old formula, and have the original cast with one guest. It'd be awesome if it was exactly like the old one. But I can see them doing something and changing it and it'll fuck it all up.
The Green Screen show is pretty funny too.

I dunno if drew will be the host or not though. Since someone earlier said something about him having a different show right now? (I haven't heard anything about that)
Either they should get Collin to be the announcer/presenter/judge/whatever while on stage or just leave that out. Or get someone of equal funny as Drew.
They should just pick the host at random each episode. Wouldn't get stale then. (Of the 3 and maybe the guest)I actually wouldn't mind Jeff Davis or Greg Proops being host. Those two are insanely funny. Jeff especially.
like this?
nah ted was terrible
I wouldn't say terrible just really unfunny.nah ted was terrible
Oh that's right, I forgot GBAtemp's number 1 rule:
"You must hate anything that becomes popular, even if it's good, you must say it sucks."
No... not Aisha Tyler I think she's cute and all and I like her on Archer but did anyone see her during the sony (or xbox) gaming event I think last year? yeah she's not exactly a comedian.
It was Ubisoft and arguably I wouldn't blame it on her. It was probably written for her and she was on a script, plus since it is a publicly broadcast event, she couldn't curse or anything.
The same issue hit shit like the cringeworthy VGAs. Neil Patrick Harris hosted one time and he was just horribly written for and it was just cringe.
She's probably much better on her own, doing improv with no skit.
Its been years since I've seen Whose Line but I loved it when I was younger and I'm guessing the humor still holds up. I also enjoyed the Green Screen Show from the short bit I saw and Improv-a-Ganza wasn't bad either.
