I really liked 999 but I don't think I can get this. Rated M and all.

Well, 999 was rated M too, and it wasn't all the bad, except for maybe a bit of profanity and the blood if you're going to count that. OOOH and if you were talking about 999 before (thought u beat VLR and had a JP 3DS, freaked XD.) Zero is supposed to be different in VLR, being called "Zero 3" and I don't think it's going to have the same concept. I mean, come on, this is the guy who did Ever 17, he has MIND-BLOWING endings, so it's probably going to be something totally unrelated. and yeah Phi is Santa's sister.

Well for all the other people who missed the pre-order bonus...heres our second chance!!! Amazons bringing it again on September 28th!!!!

And Amazon was nice enough to even have a $0.03 discount + free shipping!

LOL right?!?! :P. Thank god Friday is a half-day for me

well you see I didn't exactly buy 999
Also I haven't played/read Ever 17.

ah~ i get u i get u. well just order it online that's what i do for M rated games XDDD! (cuz its just friggin embarrassing for a 15 year old to bring a parent every time she goes to gamestop -___-). and Ever 17 is a beast PC game made by the same guy. If you got the time I'd highly recommend it~

Thinking of getting the Vita one. At least I won't get screwed over by the region lock.

Now to get a PS Vita.......

Haha true true. 3DS region lock is pretty annoying TT.TT. Not that I'm affected (yet) since I can't understand Japanese anyways and I don't believe there's a 3DS game released in Europe that hasn't been released in America...well we'll just have to wait for the 3DS to be hacked to overcome the region locks XD.

I don't think straight visual novels really count as games.

Actually they do count as games.
and Ever17 is an awesome game.

EDIT: oh and yeah, pre-ordered Zero Escape. It appears Canada doesn't get the bonus...yaay... For Vita though of course.

Why is everyone getting the Vita version and not the 3DS version?
Why even is there a Vita version? Pretty sure the writer said the game needs two screens, but I guess it could have just been the first one..

I would get Ever 17 for PSP but it looks really girly.

If you mean girly as in a guy surrounded by a bunch of girls, you're right XDD. It's actually not quite girly, in fact, the endings have a kind of dating-sim element where you as a guy can end up with a girl. But who cares, as long as the story's beast, I'm all up for it! (coming from a girl who's played Chaos; Head and thoroughly enjoyed it :P ).

And people are probably getting the Vita version cuz....they have a Vita and not a 3DS? O.o. I'm getting the 3DS version of course since I don't own the Vita, but even if I did I'd still get the 3DS version, which is of course just a personal preference. There's a Vita version so more people would have access to the game, cuz people with a Vita probably wont buy the 3DS console just for one game unless they're like true fans, like how they release the same games for the Xbox 360 and PS3, As for the one screen/two screen thing, I'm guessing it's probably going to be like 999 where the pictures are on top and the writing is at the bottom, and for the Vita they're just going to put the writing on the same screen as the pictures like they do in PC games.

Question, does the 3DS version have different options than the Vita version? I own both handhelds *baller* :P , and I'd like to specifically know, is 3D rendered on the 3DS version? If the 3DS version offers 3D, does the Vita version have anything 'extra,' to sway a buyer like me, into buying that version?

Not getting this until I get every ending in 999 (I only got the ending that you get on the first playthrough). Not really looking forward to playing 999 5+ times just to get different endings, though.

Yeah, the 3DS version is arguably superior even though the Vita one is a higher-resolution (although essentially the same visually).

Less clutter on the screen.

This is what I was referring to.
Don't click it unless you've beaten the first game.

haha wow that made me feel like a pathetic 999 fan I didn't even know it had a website :shy: . Cool interview though, and yeah then he was probably just talking about the first game, since the second game wasn't thought of when this interview was taken.

There's an english version of Ever 17 for the PSP?

Unfortunately no TT.TT

The only thing the Vita version offers over the 3DS one is the higher-resolution.

And yes, there is a 3D effect.

Vita version is higher resolution.
And yes it's in 3D on the 3DS.
