How to put cheats on snes9x for 3ds

Hello.

Ive been enjoying my time playing snes games and loads of other stuff on my 3ds by hacking it. Recently I wanted to use hacks on some snes games on the snes9x for 3ds app. Ive looked up several methods and followed the instructions given on the heats section of the emulator menu, and I still have had no luck. Not exactly sure what im doing wrong. Any help would be great

No one can tell you what you're doing wrong if you don't say exactly what you are doing.

What kind of cheats are you using? Or are you using patches of some sort? Have you been able to get those same cheats working in an emulator on your PC?
