Hi there! I'm 1dkreally, and I'm a teen college student in Scotland who really loves his video games <3

I've always been interested in gaming, and especially within recent years have I fallen in love with retro Nintendo consoles and modding/hacking - though I'm very much a noob at this sort of thing, following a tutorial is much more difficult than it sounds!

I first found this site when I homebrewed my 2DS earlier this year, and have found it useful once again when trying to bring my 14-year-old NDS flashcart into 2023. I decided to make an account because while the older forums have been rather useful, unfortunately many of them seem to be out of date for my flashcart :[

I can't imagine I'll be contributing too much as I am nowhere near a programmer or anything of the sort, but I hope I'll have a good time nonetheless :]

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
