Should be similar. Same purposes, cure uv resin, in nail paint form.
I tried the LED light that came with UV resin (similar to this) and somethimes it took a minute or more to completely cure it, even a thin layer. That's why the radiated power matters to me, since I can't afford to wait so long.

In the matter of fact, the industrial UV lamp from my post took a second with 5% of total power, but that's an overkill. I still need to try the lamp from "Mechanic", but people say it takes only few secs to cure the resin, will see.

Those they use for the raves...

Ok, will stop offToping now :D

The industrial uv using gas or led (semiconductor)?

Because i don't find any real uvc led, only uva or uvb (with reasonable price) compared to gas lamp.

Do these dat0 adaptors look okey to you guys? I dont get whats the 3v3 trace is for. It’s way cheaper than the usual four anchor ones, but I don’t know how good they are.

I feel this convo is relevant to the thread due the the extreme difficulty of this mod and how much UV curing can mitigate mistakes (thus, possibly, less posts in the thread). I hate my existing curing lamp and have been looking for another. This^ convo sparked me to finally lookup the differences in nm wavelengths and found this:

It's a single wavelenght, don't remember exactly which, between 365nm and 460nm.

I ordered some as well but haven't tried yet. That +3.3V is from the cap where you anchor it, some people use it as an alternative power source, though I prefer to stick to the caps nearby the fan connector (AIO guide scheme).

Check under the microscope that the DAT0 contact on the flex is good (half-moon) and you should be good to go.

I would mask this contact, so there will be no probability for it to short to the GND, which is the nearby anchor.

Bought the same but out of 4 different Dat0 Adapter they are the worst. The pin is nearly double as broad as on the others. So it will often connect to two nand solder balls and short them.

Hi everyone. My v2 board rts via has a cap/res above it, so it hard for soldering iron to access without moving other component. Is there any other point easy to access. I follow v4 guide, the pic is a bit different but this is where the rts via show. I dont want to use the via in the mmc adapter, it could be trouble if I remove it. Thank in advance

Jokes apart, you can use something like this.

View attachment 370151
I have this one and I can tell you that it just does not work with green UV from same brand.
I bought some other transparent UV and it cures in 3-4seconds with same lamp.
I will try some other brand on green stuff in the future and see how it goes.
If you are still in the market for one i would rather go with this one:

Same here. Got the same one with the chip a while back. It was to thick, and the achor points were shorter than usual. To many issues. Ended up using an old "corner" model I had as a spare.
Edit: now that you mention it, I guess this (connecting to 2 solder balls) might have been the problem with it all along. There was no chance i could get it to work for more than 2h. Nice catch.

I have grown to hate any dat0 adapter that ISN'T the 4-anchor. I've tried 3 other types and they all gave me issues. The one 4-anchor install, that I did, worked 1st try.

I'm now fully onboard with @Dee87's opinion that it's better the get a stencil and solder paste, to then reball the emmc and set your own permanent dat0 line. Easier said than done but you'll save money on buying adapters and attain an IMMENSELY valuable new skill. IMO, if you cannot do this, you shouldn't be messing w\ OLEDs anyway. PicoFly is an above-average-skill-mod on V1\2\Lite, OLEDs are a whole nother level.

My excuse is that I'm broke (check trading section for my post ;) ) AND I lost the link you gave me.

Care to share with the group? XD

Those cheap chinese uv laser is fake, the wavelength around 400nm. Its more correct saying its violet laser, rather than ultra violet laser.

The points in red seem to be connected. Use multimeter to confirm.
If they are you can solder like in photo (blue line/circle)

just use the left diode or right side of the top resistor, since all mark in orange are connected together

Had this 360nm flashlight type replaced old fashion USB cable lamp. It cures uv mask in just few seconds compared to 2-5min from USB one. But my uv glue sucks, thick coat will have outer layer dry but inner still wet.

You can call it cheap, you can call it fake, you can call it whatever you want, but the one I got for free off wish.com close to 10 years ago cures clear UV resin perfectly. It's exactly what I use on my installs, and "the proof is in the pudding" as they say.

Amazon Link
This link on amazon seems to be the closest to the one I currently have. It's a very unassuming laser pointer, but clearly has UV wavelength being produced if it cures my UV cure resin.

How did you know?
Seriously, has anyone ever rebal/replace this IC, can i done it using hot air, also any advise on solder ball size?, as this is the first time i will do any bga reball.
clean and flatten the pads before put on new MAX77812. Ball size is about 0.3mm.
And yes, you can only do this by hot air

Finally done with my Switch Lite install! These photos were before I swapped the mosfet --> CPU wire out with some thicker stuff, but it looks effectively the same! Took far too long, but it's nice and clean, can't even tell it's in there with the back cover on :)
