Homebrew RELEASE IconGrabber - Custom game icons & Theme Teaser

You really think the scene is kind of dead?
What makes you think of that?

Every day new videos, new tutorials, growing discord servers, growing forums (like this one) and especially Modchips show me that this isn't true!

And after I showed some people my project with this kind of icons, nearly all of them want it!

@SodaSoba @HoTsHoTz79 maybe interested to put them in your "repo" (github)?

And I tell all of them to get icongrabber and their steam API to easily use my vertical theme cardrige icons!
But all of them say that it is a bit annoying the way icongrabber is handling choosing and setting up the icons!

It would be awesome to get a version of your app including what you showed in your thread here!

I also showed this style of icons to CTCaer asking if it is possible to get rid of the gray box around every icon in the launch menu and, because of 128x192 instead of 192x192, if we also could get 5 entry's!
He really like it and let me test it with a nyx.bin that is now official with hekate 5.8.0 and nyx 1.3.0!

So, please don't let you're awesome project down for a scene that's anything else than kinda dead!

Doesn't really use the size of a "normal" vertical theme but don't know if the animation would break!

In case of hekate and also self made forwarders I will post them for everyone!

In case of game icons = they're all up on steamgrid to use with icongrabber
680 atm but I do more!
One of the main reasons I made them was the "PEGI" rating for my kids because we share just one switch and now they can see which games they don't should play!

If you talk to your kids they understand it better than a parental control!

Oh that’s cool thank you! IconGrabber is not working properly for me tho… that’s why I started commenting here “no game icons” message appear for all my games.

doing nothing for me, it does create a jpg in the tittle ID folder but it does not seems to replace the image, even after a full reboot.

yes I downloaded the nsp from this link:

this is what I'm using in the latest atmos & fw

Edit; tested & working on 14.1.0/ams1.3.2

Still nothing apearing, still the default icon.

This fixes the crashes everyone is experiencing. Have in mind that its now hiding all images that got DMCA striked by shitendo, which can be most or even all in a certain category. I took a quick look and currently there is only one BOTW image (you need to select 1024x1024 to see it), which is kinda sad.

check the attachment, use 7zip to extract, not sure why you need the psd.

@Slluxx tested the new update and it works excellently thank you for updating it, I also made a new LoZ-BoTW cover but also noticed there are still a few others on the site but decided to have a go for fun.

Sometimes a game might not exist on steamgriddb, but you might not have done the API key right?
