Two games with a mat?
No, you're misunderstanding me. Only 1 (as far as I know) modder has implemented the ability for a Wii game on a Wii U to read controllers in the GameCube Controller adapter. The games he got them to work on were Brawl and Project M (considering they're the same core game, it's more reasonable to look at it, as if they got the functionality working for one game specifically and more or less copied the work into the other title, that kind of copy and paste job would not work for other completely different games though). I'm sure if you connect the GameCube Mat to the adapter in your Wii U for that build of Brawl or Project M, it will read the inputs for those games, of course it'd be a completely impractical way to play those games and lacking many button inputs, but it should be usable in those specific builds.

Hey Mika, could you check your mailbox? I sent you a PM about this Brawl mod some weeks ago.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
