Why i wont buy logitech anymore

i am a hardcore gamer and i have all consoles and all systems , i pay around 1k in gaming each year , i ve been using logitech for a while without probs.
two months ago i purchased an g903 gaming mouse from amazon in an offer which started to produce double click errors , a common problem as i searched the net.
Mouse was purchased on amazon europe site and send to my country of residence, i ve contacted amazon and they can refund me if i send it back but this was bought in a promotion and therefore price now is significant more , i contacted logitech support requesting rma , after providing proof of purchase etc they send me this stupid msg

For sure i wont do the same mistake again to choose logitech ,under european legislation they are forced to provide warranty in european union , i asked to escalate this to a supervisor but i dont see that they will oblige . In the end i will return this back but i wont buy logitech again....

you fail to understand that under european legislation warranty in europe is one for all countries....
 
International warranties ...oh dear.....

I did not know that Companies are still offering this Kind of Warranty.I lost a little "Sight" of this Warranty Thing,because most of my Electronic Things comes from Amazon.
The Parts are working 1-2 Years (within the Warranty).So I did not really had Warranty Cases over the last Years.

And with Parts from China.....I do not think they have International Warranty.:rofl2:

@dragonmaster EU law only sets a minimum warranty of 2 years for these types of products, but the exact law is still different per country, I'm not sure it works the way you think. I'm not a lawyer though, and neither are you. See if there is an organization in your country that provides advice on consumer laws and what to do in cases like this, they should be able to tell you if you are in the right and perhaps help you get that RMA if you are. Don't give up yet.

i can get amazon return and refund but a new logitech cost 40euro more , i am looking towards corsair mouse now which is in the amount of amazon refund , but i wont buy logitech again

Oof, sounds like a downgrade to me. Of course, it's only my opinion. However, I can't recommend Corsair hardware after a keyboard AND AIO cooler crapped out on me within a year.
 
@dragonmaster Amazon can't just send you a new product? I guess if anything, Amazon are to blame here and not Logitech. Amazon are the ones that sold you the product after all - they should be the ones you deal with.
 
Wait, what? International warranties? Which Logitech did you contact? USA?

I have dealt with Logitech in the past, and they have always been very accommodating and helpful, even sending me a brand new mouse (without me sending in my faulty one which started to double click after extensive use). I was even PAST the warranty date. (and it was a $100 mouse).

Try to contact your local Logitech branch, or at least the main European one. Or you said you ordered it from "European Amazon" and which country would that be? Germany?

Yeah he would have to exchange it through amazon but since he bought it in the EU but imported to the maldives which are part of the commonwealth.

But mainly it's because he had to import it from a retailer the product isnt in the country is was purchased from

incorrect this was bought from amazon germany and was send to cyprus which is among european union countries and it is bound by european legislation on purchased items , g903 cost around 110 euro . After several messages i got to the point to have a request to destroy my mouse in order for them to send me replacement, strange thing but i ve already did a research and they do this in order to avoid buyer trying to scam them with free mouse , by destroying the mouse i found that the main problem of mine with double clicking was of the switches which are of chinese manfucture.
 
I used to have some of the lower-end logitech mice, too.
Same issues.
Namely the G900 series.
I bought them over Amazon and so i kept getting them replaced for free for the duration of two years warranty.
If i got sick of that process i could get my money back in full, even one and a half years later.
And i did so.
Same thing goes for the ROG Spatha, where i got my money back after over a year and now i use the Logitech Pro Wireless, which is excellent.

The product being faulty doesnt actually matter, as long as you know how to work around it.
Buy from Amazon and just stop worrying.

The new G Hub software they've released to replace LGS is absolutely horrible. Since their new products only support G Hub I will most likely not be purchasing any more either.
 
G Hub seems to be working fine with my G502 Wireless. I've heard other people complain as well, but I'm not sure what their issue is.
 
Since you said your a hard core gamer, do you have a nes,snes,gen,ps1 connected up and ready to go? You cant be hard core with out owning them and having them connected up....
 
@Roamin64 Or he could replace it himself. I've been inside a Logitech mouse, the switches are all through-hole soldered, so it should be easy.
 
Update they informed me that they will send me a replacement , for the time being i am fine with this , i expect to receive it and use it hopefully for a long time as my last chinese mouse costing a fraction of this did hold up for some years.
Also true you can replace the switches by yourself if you did not destroy it as i when i was asked to destroy it :P

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.
