The why apple company fans are believing that a 2011 laptop can worth the same as a mid range 2016 laptop

i ve listed my laptop of 2016 and i got a person asking to trade with a macbook 2011 plus 200e from me ,i laughed at the propositions and i believed it was just a person. now i ve got another one asking to trade his mac mini 2012 model with my laptop plus 150 from my behalf again
why on earth they believe an i5 sandy worth more than an i5 skylake

A phrase I often have to repeat around here is something is worth what someone else is willing to pay, and people do seem to be prepared to pay for these old macs. I am not sure why, I guess some people like/are compelled to use the software which is only available for them and the more cynical side of me says fashion victim. There is also a slight perception that the hardware is of good quality and while it is not bottom of the barrel it still seems to be subject to most of the same poor decisions all other computer makers make, and a few more besides.
Personally I would maybe pay £50 for an old mac as they are a pain in the arse to repair and I have no use for them but I am seemingly not that representative of the world at large.

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
