@DarkGabbz it was an old fan i bought an adapter on ebay that lets me use old fat psu's with it.

wait, you didn't cut any hole on the plastic? so it should be fine if i do that?

Get a plastic editing tool like a Dremel with a small cutting disc make a cutout for the fan but make it a bit smaller than the fan so that you can use the screwholes of the fan.

also, you ever had an issue with the slim psu fan? where it make a loud noise???

I can't find and Dremel, would drilling a bunch of holes in the plastic to make the right cut out work?

i'm just gonna end up waiting for the adapter to come in, thanks for the help!

Why are you people mutilating adapters!?

Small replacement fan would've done the job just as well.

Also for anyone foolish enough to try it.
PSU's contain DANGEROUSLY high amperages.
Touching the wrong component WILL kill you.

sorry for sounding like a prick.

@DarkGabbz I ended up buying a fat 360 power brick and took the fan from it and tossed it in the slim and now it works!

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
