I recently did the softmod thing for the first time in my life. I followed the most up to date guide I could find! I installed: ►PriiLoader ►d2x-cIOS Installer ► Multi Mod Manager(The links are under the youtube video. I could not post them here because it is my first post). After this I back up my NAND with BootMii. After this, I installed 2 WADS and they worked fine. However, after doing some more research, I was told not to install WAD files into my system memory. That it would be better to use USBLOADER GX an install all those files in emuNAND. Therefore, if something goes wrong, only the SD card is affected and my system memory is not affected. After reading this, I deleted the 2 WAD files with WAD manager and proceeded to download: from Sourceforge: USB Loader GX USB Loader GX Forwarder When I entered USB Loader GX, the first thing I did was: - go to the settings>features menu, select "Dump NAND into emuNAND" ALL - go to settings>loader settings>emuNAND channel : FULL - go to the main screen>4th icon in the top menu>enable EmuNAND. After this, I installed 1 WAD file. When I tried to play it, but it takes me back to the Wii Home Screen. After this, I went back into the loader, an installed another file. I tried to play the WAD but I was taken again to the Wii main screen. What is happening? The other channels that are on the system memory, work fine. Another question: I am only interested in running Virtual Console games. The SD card I have is 32GB Ultra Speed San Disk. I do not want to use an external hard drive or USB. I only want to use the SD card. 1) Is there a way to launch USB Loader GX without the loader searching for a hard drive? I do not want to have to press a button to cancel every time. I saw in other threads that @Cyan knows a lot about this! Hope you can help me!
You can make a post on the DS forum about your findings, and they'll do their best to respond. They have a GBAtemp account here, you know.
