just finished hacking wii u to play wii games


after installing USB Loader GX forwarder through wad manager

Now everytime my wii u asks to format usb? how do you bypass this message its really annoying

And installing the forwarder was also irrelevant to your issue.


you can hide the HDD from the WiiU by editing its partition table signature with UStealth.
there's a windows program, and a homebrew.

When you want to hide your drive to the WiiU, run that tool (on windows or homebrew channel)
but once hidden, it will be hidden for everything which is not designed to work with Ustealth'd drives, so Windows will not see the drive either.
you will have to unhide it first before editing its content on computer.

Lot of homebrew has been updated to work with a hidden drive (USB loaders, emulators, etc.)

A second solution is to boot Mocha from CBHC, latest beta version (v0.3 beta?) has FAT32 support and the WiiU will not ask to format it.
