Hacking Transferring Saves

Hi everyone,

I have a Gateway 3DS that I've been playing MH3U on for awhile now, however I've decided I want to update and have full access to the eShop now, and in addition be able to play games online. Is it possible to transfer my save file once I download MH3U off eShop? Or will I have to start all over?

Sometimes people seriously make the weirdest decisions.

Unless you find a way to rewrite the EEPROM of your cartridge, there's no way you could keep your save data. Using the eShop version won't help as well.

the way to get save from cart to eshop is to use the 3DS Save Data Transfer Tool (you can get it off the eshop)
not sure if it will work with gateway

you might need to start over
