Both Digimon Tamers and SEL are great and from my favorite anime. Also from same writer. -

Tamers is pretty much a family-friendly version of SEL. still the darkest and most mature Digimon anime. also the only one i love.

The World Ends With You anime is meh. Especially the cheapass visuals/animation. So yeah, skip it. Besides the game is short for jrpg standards.
