I am confused as to why that matters? It does what you are requesting.
I am not against adding a PowerButton hook though, just wanted to point out that there seems to be something that already exists that does your request.
Yes, I see what your saying but its more convenient having it as just a hook so that I dont have to open a .cia just to shutdown, And infact it would probably be faster powering off normally lol

If you hold the button for 80 years:
A) Power module force-shutdowns the system in the first 10 seconds pushing.
B) You must have a terribly tired arm.

My point is system usually needs to do things to dispose everything. I guess you play the most a memory extended game like smash? In that specific case the shutdown time can be even more dramatic. Thats how N roll.
It's not that. The system only closes the app when you return to HOME Menu or power off.

It simply is to give the user enough time to know that they want to power off, instead of accidentally pressing it when they open the console, thinking it's off.
It's in the manual.

I am going to give my two cents and say this, why can't the poweroff option from emunand9 be implemented as a single option? The power off option works in less than one second, which is better than the auto power off cia and better than holding the power off button.

Because when you run emunand9, it's the only thing running. When you use the power off CIA, you have an entire firmware to shut down...

It would be awesome if there was a quick restart submodule to so that if you select different games while using NTR, you don't have that error
