How to get MK8 Ghost files?

I came up with a crazy idea, and based off this one github I found it sounds possible.

I want to get some ghost data and see if I can extract its movements to convert into a playable macro for Macros-NX

But the github does not seem to describe how to even get the ghost file?
You open the game, create some ghosts in time trials then dump your savefile

Replay data is saved as individual "rp[bunch of numbers].dat" files
