IMO, I think NVMe drives should slide vertically into RAM-style slots between the card slots, saving space, latency, and letting you have more drives.

refurbished drive that was used for 5 years in a data center for $80 is a BAD deal. even if it has a warranty you'll end up losing all the data lol
