I got a 2DS XL as a gift last month from my wife. Sent her the link because I wanted one without Mario Kart pre-installed.
The top screen stopped worked a few days ago so I called Nintendo to get it replaced. Problem is the serial number starts with "ND," which as far as anyone can tell isn't valid for a 2DS XL. Neither the CS rep nor anyone she ran it up to knew what it meant or where it's from. I looked around too and the D doesn't seem to be used for any region on any Nintendo platform.
Nintendo's going to send me a replacement 2DS with a correct serial number for my region, but just out of curiosity, does anyone recognize weird ND one?
I can't post links yet but the Amazon listing can be found by googling "2ds xl amazon," and Worldwide Distributors is the vendor. I posted an imgur link for proof which you can find by searching "2ds xl nd serial number imgur"
