    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

There are instructions for updating here. If your Wii is connected to the Net, the easiest way is just to use the online update feature within Cfg itself as specified. The offline update method is also provided. Edit: Oops, just noticed the new page and realised I was beaten. Not used to the...

Clarifying on the other explanation you got, the feature you want is the 'favorite' list. You can set this with the Configurator or in the options for each game to manage which games are your favourites. You can also set several profiles, each with its own list of favourites. By default, the...

How is your drive formatted? If WBFS, then this is almost certainly the WBFS drive corruption issue. If that's the case, there's no real solution apart from reformatting the drive, although some games will start to fail or even fix themselves at random if you install or delete other games...

I'm pretty sure Cfg uses both the /codes AND /codes locations already, so if that is the location you want, then no change is necessary.

Double check that you have the config.txt file in /usb-loader on the drive and that config.txt isn't on the sd card at all (delete or rename the /usb-loader directory on the SD if it exists). That should hopefully get it working.

Yes, but it may not work without StartPatch or Priiloader if the game is an import game.

No, unless I go and emulate the writeback to the full log as opposed to the current game file as I do now (the current game is usually added to the full log when you enter the Wii Menu, so you need to access the menu between games for write_playlog to work). I may get around to attempting to...

I see what you mean now. That part of the menu appears to default to full, when it really should be defaulting to the best available. I doubt there's any way to fix that for now, so look for a new version.

The answer for question 2 will avoid the second button push entirely (first push starts game). The only way you could do this instead would be to set all the text colours in the menu to transparent, which can be done with: gui_text_color_menu=0

You turn it on in the options for the game alone, by selecting the game and then choosing the Options button (or it might be called Settings, I'm not fully sure). The Hook Type can be chosen on the same screen where you can turn Ocarina on. Just try different ones until it works as different...

Did you turn on Ocarina and try various hook types?

Hacking Language Files for Configurable USB Loader

Add: db_language=PT to config.txt (set with the Configurator if confused) You might also find: language_cc_pal=PT useful if you buy your games in PAL (you'll download Brazilian Portuguese covers).

None of us have the game, nor desire to buy it, and we don't pirate, so we'll have to wait for a solution from the community. If this has been found for one of the other loaders, please let us know and we can work on building it in.

Paths on FAT shouldn't be case sensitive. THe following would be valid things for covers and music: covers_path = sd:/pathtocovers music = sd:/pathtomusic Only thing that is potentially case sensitive there is the sd:/ code. Those paths have to exist, though. As for themes, I'm still a...

The line you need in config.txt (either via the Configurator or manual editing) is: music=sd:/usb-loader/music Make sure you have it like that, without upper case.

You should be specifying the path as usb:/path or ntfs:/path depending on whether the partition with the images is FAT32 or NTFS. If you've been doing that, then try specifying a directory without images on the same drive. If it then loads, then one of your game images might be corrupt and...

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

There is no way to jump to alphabet letters on Cfg. There's also no jump at all in the GUI, cursor_jump only applies to the console view. The game selection should work, provided you have write_playstats turned on (but not write_playlog, which is incompatible with return_to_channel). I'll...
