    So basically...don't run diagnostic mode to brick and otherwise it's fine? Did anyone confirm with the confirmed bricks if they were running diagnostic mode?

    DId you have any problems like during a game it would say card was removed error? Open the download link in a new tab. It will say like beta release 2.0b2, change that to 2.0b1

    Hacking Gateway will fix any bricked 3DS for free, as long as you're not lying!

    You can use it but it's best to not use firmware 2.0b2 because it might brick your console due to the code. Just use an older firmware like 2.0b1 or 1.2.

    It should be safe if it's based off of 2.0b1. There haven't been any reports of it bricking. Only 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3 are having problems.

I've had problems with one of their cards (turned out to be defective) and got a new one after messing with that first card so many times (upgrading and degrading).     How would you degrade to a lower version? I tried doing it before until it stopped working and it turned out that my card was defective. I just want to be safe in degrading again but I'm not sure, if that might be what caused the card to become like that in the first place.

    Question for the new version. After the chaos that happened to my defective gateway card, is this firmware safer? I got an RMA and probably will get my card back in a few days. Any save corruptions being reported or card removed or anything like that?
