Where do you buy used tech from?

Haven't been on Craigslist in forever, and never heard of Nextdoor. Do you have a preference between the two sites, or would you say it's more a matter of combing for specific things, where one site is better over the other?

    Coffee!

"Shitty American coffee" doesn't actually come from America. You do know that, right?

Google disables cookies for 30 million of their users

I don't use Chrome either -- never have -- but I got the sense this wouldn't just affect Chrome users. Most of us still use Google when searching for something on the Web.

What did you have for dinner last night?

Can't remember if we have a breakfast thread, so... My breakfast: A Frito and Swiss omelet. Farkin' awesome! Do not write this one off. And the fritos I use are the store brand, which only have three ingredients: corn meal, oil and salt. Good stuff!

Google disables cookies for 30 million of their users

Seriously? You might be correct in your thinking with regards to its influence worldwide, though if 30 million users is only 1% of their total user base, that means roughly 1/3 of the world's population uses their browser. But that aside, if their new approach is not something yet negotiated by...

Google disables cookies for 30 million of their users

I figured that would be most peoples' response, and that's what concerns me. I just can't see Google adhering to the law. They are one of those companies that make law, not abide it. I have a feeling they will be moving into tech that could possibly be more damaging to the public and the...

    Mickey Mouse is public domain

Wow, seriously? I figured they would have found legal loopholes to hold on to that. 1704193156 Doesn't matter, though. Though the designs may be still be protected, the MM persona, I would think, is not. Which means, you can create your own new designs based publicly and with attention to the...

What did you have for dinner last night?

Made tater logs My wife pre-baked 'em the night before, then I slow fried them in olive oil the next day. Absolutely delicious. But...the key is to let them cool off for 15 minutes (set a timer on your phone). This way, they're still warm, but not scalding hot.

Can instant decalf make a good ice coffee

Same here. I only drink two cups of regular, and then I typically do two cups of decaf each day. I would think it would be an even better option as a cold drink. That being said, it's winter, so I sure wouldn't want it right now.
