No, if you set to 480i in Wii settings ONLY the Warning screen will be in 480p, the game itself will be in 480i. Sad but true...- DiMENSiON

Well, it doesn't work properly then. Someone posted at another forum that he got picture at half of the screen and like a green artefact at the other half using this method. So I wouldn't call it running 480p.- DiMENSiON

Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it. -
