    The Wire, The Sopranos, The Shield and Oz are my all time favourites. They all are visceral, raw, with pertinent social commentary and outstanding writing. Also enjoyed a lot of Lost, Prison Break (early seasons), Deadwood. For comedy South Park, King of the Hill and Silicon Valley.

    For me, it was Shinichiro Watanabe's work. Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop and now Lazarus coming out at adultswim. They are short (less than 30 episodes) and a work of art. Soundtracks are amazing so is fighting and characters.
