    Hacking Soldering Iron unable to heat??

    I have a 'shack iron and it worked great for about 10 installs before it started to die. Now it will heat up and sometimes melt solder and sometimes go cold in the middle of an install. It's probably a bad heating element but it also could be an intermittent connection between the power cable...

    Hacking Done Wiikey install - how do I get it to work?

    You've got it right. The 1.1 disc still displays 1.0 on the screen. Only difference is reset button functionality. Tap it to move between menu options and hold it to select or change a value.

    I can fix it if you'd like. I may not have many posts on this board, but I'm very active over at WiiNewz and somewhat at MaxConsole as well. I've done more than 15 installs and 5 or so repairs so I know what I'm doing. I'm in Austin, TX.

    Hacking very picky about reading discs

    I've done installs on 15-20 Wii consoles and one of them that I worked on was EXTREMELY picky with media. Would not read games w/ a WiiKey that ran fine on every other console I had tested them on. Read GC burns though so I know the chip was working fine. This was using Verb +R. I'd recommend...
