Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

I disconnected the dat0 cable and I received a " =* D0 is not connected " error in the picofly. I'm guessing that I used one of the "bad" dat0 adapters from aliexpress. I have these spare ones but I'm not trusting any of them at all. Any recommendation? Thank you in advance.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

I used a 4k7 ohms 0201 1% resistor, after soldering I checked the value with the multimeter and it gave ~4k7. But later I will check again...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Well, finally I replaced the burned resistor on CMD point (4K7 ohms) and the switch came back to life. But now the situation is that the RP2040 starts with blue led (glitching) and after two seconds I have the error code: *=* (No eMMC block 0 read (eMMC init failure?) I don´t know where to...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Hi guys, Installing the picofly I burned the CMD resistor in my OLED switch. I read in other post that the resistor that is sitting on the CMD point is 4k7 ohm and the one beside that is 47k ohm, both 0201 size. Can you confirm the value and the size? I want to confirm before order them...

    Picofly AIO Thread

I used the kapton trick, I made some progress, now I went from cyan to purple. I'm using the hwfly flex for that points (CMD / CLK) and I checked with the multimeter that I got right values in the final flex points but... I will continue tomorrow, at least the switch is booting in OFW. Thanks...

    Picofly AIO Thread

I need to post more messages to link pictures (I think) but anyway I will try to install again, I will solder the cable between the flex and the picofly with the microscope and checking with the multimeter. The other day I made it too fast :D

    Picofly AIO Thread

Hi people, I tried to install a picofly (firm 2.67) in a OLED with a cpu flex cable labeled as FL1v2-2. I got a Cyan led and I just read the updated guide for installing. I was thinking that the flex cable maybe is not valid for the OLED but now I'm thinking that I maybe bridged pin 2 or 5 with...
