    Excellent! Thank you both @ca032769 and @nexxusty! Very promising 1667552193 To clarify, do I need to replace this board? Or is there an enclosure that this simply connects to? When I looked up ASM1153E, I couldn't find one that looks like it'd work for my application.

    I've just attempted this on my WD Passport 5TB WDBA2F0050BBL, but unfortunately, it didn't work. When attempting to the WD Formatter, it said the firmware didn't support changing the block size or something. Is there anything else I can try?
