    When you open Universal Updater and go to settings on the bottom and "Select Unistore", is there something listed? there should be a file named "universal-db.unistore" After the software update my universal updater works now so I updated everything you told me to before except FBI.CIA which fails.

    I was able to open the modded save in a emulator with changes present. The universal updater told me to connect to wifi (which I am) and then gave me nothing on the Home Screen. I don’t know where “show nand or user string” or ezb9supdater are too

    I decided to simply copy the .sav and put it in a different folder and the backup restored with no errors. The problem must clearly be with PKHex

    Do you mean cias. If not then I only have two ds games and I’ve never had any problem with both of them. If so I’ve never tried to run any before today

    The universal updated gave me nothing. A backup of the game not going thru PkHex works fine. How do I add a save file on Nosgba? I downloaded luma a few months ago so I should be. I have a new 2ds xl. Do I put the cia file on the cias folder of my sd card. If so, how do I open it from there

    The post you linked describes my exact problem. How would I know if I’m editing the wrong game or if my cart is counterfeit (I doubt it)

    The SD card tester said the card was clean and the one I’m using came with the system. I also redownloaded twlSaveTool but I still got a crash upon opening the file (yes the 3dsx file)

    I tried installing it unzipped into the 3ds file but when I open it in the Homebrew Launcher I get a system crash. The preview screen is a garbled mess

    I am exporting by pressing the export button in PKHex, that’s it. I have the cartridge. The error comes up when I try to restore the save onto the cart in checkpoint
