    sorry, i got confused when u said gamepad lol. i thought u were talking about the wii u gamepad. the gc controller doesnt work on the hbc at all.

    my wii remote works fine getting into hbc, pointer and all. i tried both ways. disconnected the gamecube controller before launching any game on nintendont. then, i instead tried launching a game with the controller plugged in before turning on the wii

    I have a third party gamecube controller. i tested it once on nintendont and it worked, dont know whats wrong now.

    no i mean only while im playing melee. it zooms in on my character instead of attacking

    it was already on apparently. i actually just checked and i think its something with the button mapping? the right stick on the gamepad doesnt work like the c stick on the gamecube controller. it zooms in instead. not sure how to fix that

    ohhh ok that makes sense but yea i had already uninstalled it and installed the most recent forwarder from wii u usb helper so its updated now. The gamepad still doesnt work though. Every button responds until i start playing melee and the c stick doesnt do anything. btw do you know how to set...

    im not sure i understand. i boot up nintendont from the wii u channel menu so its installed on my usb. i have both an sd card and usb. the usb is in the back of the wii u for games and the sd card has stuff like homebrew and other apps but nintendont isnt on the list of apps there.

    thats what i did and it didnt update it. maybe you can find something wrong with my files? also my bad i think i installed a nintendont forwarder when i first got it. just an fyi

    it didnt do anything. im using a wii u vc inject (i think) and i dont know how to update it or if theres an update at all.

    okay yea u were right lol i turned native control off and was able to use the gamepad. Though, when i play melee the stick thats supposed to be the c stick doesnt work. here are my settings anyways.

    It happens when i go into the update menu and try to update anything. I reinstalled nintendont but the same error occurs. I can load games but the controls also don't work for some reason and sometimes the game just freezes.
